WG Legion Post 724 would like to congratulate the Pen Argyl Class of 2020. This has been a hard year for the Senior class being unable to have the graduation they deserve and worked so hard for. Many of your parents and family support our Post. So in turn we are sharing the graduation video that was put together for the Senior Class of 2020. May all your wishes and dreams come true. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Happening now in Pen Argyl, PA, United States

Attention Post 724 members as most of you know we have supported many things over the years. And one of them being Pen Argyl School District. In fact we support a lot of things in the slate belt area. This is so sad that the 2020 graduating class is not getting the graduation they deserve. Other schools have found a way to do something for their Seniors. And as of yet there has been nothing planned for PASD. A lot of parents and family support our Post when ever we have functions so if we could do the same and support the Senior Class of 2020 that would be great. Share away our friends and family. And again Thank you for your support.

Give Pen Argyl seniors an in-person graduation. 82 signatures are still needed!

We're in an unprecedented time for everyone. It's uncertain and very scary. This fear is completely understandable, and the indefinite timeline is likely creating a lot of anxiety during a time where we may be or feel more removed from our support networks. But social distancing doesn't have to mean social isolation, and we want people to know that even as we all face this difficult period, no one is alone.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on April 1, we are partnering with the Center for Community Resources to offer a 24/7 mental health and crisis support line for people dealing with anxiety or other difficult emotions. Callers will be able to speak with staff who are trained in trauma-informed principles and will listen, assess the person's needs, triage, and refer to other local supports and professionals as needed.

The Mental Health Support Line can be reached toll-free, 24/7 at 1-855-284-2494.

This Veterans Day is going to be the last one Rich and I have with Vince.

The 3 of us have been together working and volunteering with Post 724 going on 10 years. They both came into to the Post wanting change, wanting to make this a better place. And I think we have accomplished that and so much more. And they have grown and become better men because of it. The trials and tribulations have definitely been worth it all. And I could not ask for better friends that I consider family and my brothers.

So on behalf of Post 724 Crew the bartenders Fred, Casey, Heather, Mackenzie and Shannon and the cooks Jeff, Tom, Dave and Bettie Jo we wish you the best life has to offer you Vince and you are going to be missed more than you know when you move to Florida. Happy Veterans Day and Semper Fi from us all at Post 724. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
