Met a VN Vet at oceanfront (hat). “Welcome home”, “when, where, who did you serve with in county?” “Any issues with health that might be related to AO? His Answer: “Diabetes and heart condition: currently receiving 20% disability” I handed him a card with my info and DAV chapter info on back. I told him to call number of # 20 and make appointment for review. This is my personal outreach to our brothers and sisters. Thank you #20 for your help in getting me 100% benefits. See Vet - Tell a Vet!
Possible HOPE! 😲
Hi there I am The President of Veterans Outdoors Adventures and have been contacted by a Navy Veterans on 70% disabilty that is about to become homeless and unfortunetly has enough income to have her own apartment but, her credit score is extremely low and she needs either a co-signer (which she has non) or 3 times the rent for a deposit on an apartment. She has been told by a DAV member there in VB that the color of her skin was a factor (or something along those lines). WHOM can help me help this Veteran? I am currently in North Dakota but Originally from VB, VA where I graduated from PAHS and now a I am trying to help this single MOM. She has till March 1st to find a new place to live.
Please prepare and keep safe from Hurricane Florence. All of your Brother's & Sister's in DAV & Auxiliary and Puerto Rico are Praying for all!
I need help upgrading my combat injury too 100% percent. I’ve been through physical therapy and it has worsened my condition. I can no longer use my left arm due to severe pain. I have documentation available but the doctors take their time documenting it.
