In short, we exist to Build, Serve and Heal. After 35 years of pastoring, Bobby Hoyle “retired” and founded LENDAHAND Mission Teams in 2001. Bobby and his wife, Kathryn, a school teacher of 35 years, work together to make each LENDAHAND Mission Teams trip run smoothly. Each mission is bathed in prayer, and God has blessed with His favor.

I’m excited to share our newest project. It is with Pastor George Sule from Kampala Uganda. He has a heart of compassion to educate children. He gets them off the street to give them two meals and an education. Unfortunately he was evicted from the place they were renting during Covid. That did not stop him he continued teaching in his house. Then the Lord blessed him with some land that they are purchasing. So we have the awesome opportunity to plant into this ministry. We are helping to build the school and latrines. Pastor George is working very hard to get everything finished in time for the children to start school in September. Your financial help would be greatly appreciated.

Praise God we are in the second phase of getting the walls up on the church in NICARAGUA. Pastor Ernesto Rodriguez and Pastor Norlan Uriel Avila Huete are overseeing the building. This Church is in loving memory of Harold Abner Sr, my father-in-law. What a beautiful spot. It reminds us exactly of the mountains in Papua New Guinea where he served as a missionary for several years.
We are praying many souls will be drawn to the Lord in this community called “ Grand Patio”.

ARE YOU LONGING FOR GOD?

“ God of heaven‘s armies, you find so much beauty in your people! They are like lovely sanctuary‘s of your presence. Deep within me all these lovesick longings, desires and daydreams of living in union with you. When I’m near you my heart and my soul will sing and worship with my joyful songs of you, my true source and spring of life!” Psalms 84:1-2

I can’t wait for that day to come!! He came to earth, lived amongst us to be an example, and died nailed to a cross, was buried in a cold tomb BUT AROSE AGAIN- ALL for us.

Meditate on His Great Love for YOU today!

Thank you once again for all your donations to LENDAHAND Mission Teams. We were able to send funds to Guatemala. Dr. Gladys Chavez went to a Mayan Village called San Juan Ostuncalco. A school of 150 kids needed masks, sanitizer, thermometers, disinfectant, rubbing alcohol and perisite medication. She was able to meet with 10 children at a time. She taught them about Jonah and obeying God. Dr. Gladys left them each a small toy which brought a smile.

After lunch she then gave 25 widows a big bag of food enough to last a month.

Thank you again.

Calling on our Prayer warriors.

One of our faithful team members has asked for prayer for her husband. He has been battling cancer. He had eight weeks of radiation last year in hopes numbers would go down, but they have continued to rise over the last year with increased velocity the last six months. It is possible that targeted radiation could bide sometime before hormone therapy and or chemotherapy are introduced. They just need to be able to locate where the cancer is which has been unsuccessful thus far.

Please be praying for healing from this cancer and encouragement for this family. We serve a Mighty God!!

Thank you to those who gave towards Hurricane/COVID relief in Central America. You made it possible for food to be provided to those in desperate need in Nicaragua. Through Francisco Zeledon we were able to reach 32 families in Totogalpa and San Jose de Palmira. Two new communities he is reaching out to with the Gospel!!! He is now pastoring a church there in Totogalpa. The people were extremely blessed by this gift.

Even though we cannot go right now, we are blessed to send so the ministry continues on. As you continue to faithfully give, we will continue to give to those in need.

We are Gods conduit, His hand extended. His work will, and must continue forward.

Leda is doing very well and the infection has gone down significantly. If this continues she will not need surgery.
Keep praying and I will keep you updated. Thank you.

01/21/2021

Please be in prayer for our key interpreter and Nicaraguan Lauzon for all our missions in Nicaragua. Pastor David Francisco Zeledon, his wife Carolina and daughter Leda.

Leda is 12 and she is in the Ocatal Hospital for at least 3 days. She has a very large Adenopthy ( swollen Lymph Node) that is continuing to grow. It’s infected so she’s on intravenous antibiotics for at least 3-7 days. Once the infection clears they will do a biopsy. Then they will do surgery to remove it.

Pray for this infection to clear up and for complete healing in Leda’s body so she won’t even need surgery!!!
Pray for peace and strength for Francisco and his family!!

Thank you partners and friends of LENDAHAND. Your continued gifts have yet again helped provide hungry families in Nicaragua with food. Pastor Ernesto, Pastor Denis and Maynor, traveled about 4 hours up in the mountains to Cedrales Murra. They handed out 80 bags of food, enough for a month per family. Over 300 people were reached.
The word of God was shared and people were prayed for. What a joy to empower and enable these Pastors to be a huge blessing to the communities around them that need JESUS.

From Maynor:
“In Alamikamba we met people in a church, since most are in shelters because they lost their homes. We delivered 80 packages, we served approximately 400 people, we gave 6 packages to Pastors and many children received their bag of candy and we were all happy.”

The team also brought clothes and shoes that people brought and donated from their church. What a blessing!!

12/04/2020

Maynor and Francisco wanted to bless the pastors so a larger bag of food was prepared for each one.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION. You look worn out Francisco!!! ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!!!

The team in Nicaragua worked so hard yesterday. LOOK at all the bags loaded in the trucks!!! They met with 4 Pastors today. First they went to San Sang Was. Forty bags of food were distributed to feed over 200 people. Maynor got some excellent photos. Pastor Oscar and Pastor Holman helped with handing out the bags of food.

HONDURAS: The Bandys are working with their church to help meet the needs of their church members and those in the community. They have provided food already. Now they are helping with household goods.
With the money LENDAHAND sent they purchased fans and sheets.

With the rest of the funds donated to them they purchased appliances. What a blessing to be a small part in helping people rebuild their lives after so much disaster and destruction.

Praying for LAH today. Lord hear my heart and prayers for this team and the Central American people they minister to.
Asking for prayers 🙏🏾 My cousin Jordyn was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Medullary Carcinoma. She is only 14 and admitted to CHKD. We also have a page made for her and her updates I can add anyone to if they'd like Thank you so much I know I can count on my lendahand team 😘😇🙏🏾💞😓
Day 3 - Today the medical and ministry team went to Mi Peru in Ventanilla. The medical team saw 86 people and had 29 salvations and 2 rededications. Needless to say, it was a powerful day! Keep praying for us as we continue to minister God's love to His people. #missiontrip #medicalmissions #peru #miperu #ventanilla #beinghishandsandfeet #lendahandmissionteams
Day 2 is in the books! We traveled to the Ventanilla area and hello a medical clinic and VBS at the Pachuatec church. We saw somewhere between 100-150 people at the clinic and had about 45-50 at the VBS. We had 29 salvations today!! #peru #lendahandmissionteams #missiontrip #medicalmissions
Day 1 for the Medical & VBS teams was a day off preparation. We had a late breakfast before heading out, since we didn't get to the hotel til after 3 am. Then we decided and conquered both the medical supplies and gifts. We were served lunch at the church by a few of the ladies who are Venezuelan refugees. Two of their children were able to find new shoes among those we brought. After the construction team rejoined us, we walked a few blocks to Corralito for dinner.
