Juliet K. Hemphill is feeling blessed. June 13, 2019 · How long must this land mourn? Even the grass in the fields has withered. The wild animals and birds have disappeared because of the evil in the land. For the people have said, “The LORD doesn’t see what’s ahead for us! ”If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan? (Jeremiah 12:4-5) NLT Don’t allow the things we see going on in this world make us impatience or lose faith. If we are so discouraged with the petty troubles now, how will we stand under the trials and tribulation that are to come?

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJ) Life can be difficult. Some people seem to face life’s hardships with courage and come out stronger on the other side. They are able to climb even what feel like impossible mountains in their life. Others seem to be unable to recover from difficulties, and end up bitter, blaming others or God for their trouble, or just sinking into depression. The ones who survive and even thrive in spite of challenges are often those who have faith in God. Today I ask you to remember that God never promised to shield us from difficulties. He only promises to be with us. Today I encourage you to take one day at a time look to God trust Him and ask him to be with you to lead and direct your path for He can help you endure far more than you’d ever be able to do on your own.
