For all those who have been asking, we have decided to honor my mom with a Celebration of Life memorial on Saturday, December 14th from 11am-2pm.

The gathering will be held at the Cascades Overlook event space located at 21453 Epicerie Plaza, Sterling, VA 20164. Parking is available ONLY in the free parking garage unless you have handicap plates. The building is otherwise handi-capable.

There are a few rules for this gathering, and for anyone who knew my mom, they won’t come as a shock. 1) You are not to wear black - she was a vibrant woman and loved bright colors. 2) Please come as you are - she accepted everyone without judgement - if leggings and Uggs are your thing, wear what makes you comfortable.

Lastly, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to my mom’s favorite organizations:

1. Planned Parenthood
2. The Loudoun Library Foundation
3. National Poison Control
4. Sterling Volunteer Fire & Rescue

It is with a very very heavy heart that I tell you of my friends passing. This was the woman that was like a mother, a big sister and at times my therapist. I was so glad to have her in my life. She will be missed, but God has another angel watching over us.

Help us to spread the word about localized vaccination events happening this summer in communities throughout the County; the first one will be in Leesburg this Sunday, June 13! These events will be using Pfizer so that we can vaccinate our young people, as well as anyone else who wishes to get their vaccine. We plan to have translators onsite to assist individuals who speak Spanish. The events are free and are open to anyone regardless of health insurance or immigration status. Individuals may preregister if they want to reserve a time or choose to walk in on the date of the event. https://my.medspack.com/vaccine-signup Ayúdenos a informar a la comunidad sobre los eventos de vacunación que ofreceremos este verano en diferentes partes del Condado; ¡El primero será en Leesburg este domingo, 13 de junio!
Is it possible to put the monthly calendars online or on the FB page? I'm trying to find out when the next build and bounce is at Sterling Community Center.
