As we celebrate youth day this week, a big shout out to Air Products for helping our INMED SA teams improve facilities at Randvaal Primary. In addition to providing sustainable sustenance, the traditional gardens have become a valuable learning tool for students as they are taught the skills of producing their own vegetables. “Almost 45% of the children are on our feeding scheme and the number of children we need to support has almost doubled from about 500 in 2015 to close to 1 230 this year,” Piet du Toit, Randvaal Principal.

The entire INMED family is saddened by the death of Martha Moletsana, who left this world on March 19--just 1 day after her daughter passed away from a long illness. Martha was a leader of the farm cooperative in Hennenman, Free State, which operates a very successful INMED Aquaponics® system. She was an inspiration not only to people with disabilities but to us all. Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to her family, friends and fellow farmers. We will miss her indomitable spirit but will carry on her legacy of determination and inclusion. Building pathways that enable vunerable children, families and communities to achieve stability and self-reliance.

The INMED Difference: Strategies for Generational Change

* Family-focused programs prepare parents to give their children the healthiest possible start in life so that they develop optimally and enter school ready to learn and succeed.
* Children are at the center of an action-oriented educational process that cultivates the tremendous potential they hold as catalysts for positive change.
* Participatory programs lay the foundation for lifelong learning and economic productivity by strengthening academic, vocational, leadership and life skills.

Through INMED’s programs, the process of transformation that begins with a child carries over to his family and community, creating real, meaningful, sustainable change that crosses generations, breaks the cycle of poor outcomes and leads to a brighter future for all.
