Give the Gift of the Arts

While we are all faced with adjusting to what is our new normal right now, not having access to arts education should not be a part of what’s normal. Tomorrow, on Give STL Day, you can help support 35 students with a gift of an outstanding arts education program. Your gift to HEAL Center for the Arts can remove barriers by providing access to out of school time programming for students.

Join us at www.givestlday.org/healcenterforthearts, and help us continue to transform lives through music!

Summer Camp “Feel’s So Good”

07/14/2019

We are so excited to announce that we are hosting our second annual “Point of View” Jazz Ensemble summer camp in partnership with the Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries’s “North County Big Band” which is also founded and directed by our founder Harvey Lockhart. Camp will be July 15-19, 2019. This camp will be intimate and will focus on our small groups. We are so excited to have some amazing teaching artist such as Delano Redman, Ryan Marquez, Anita Jackson, Nick Savage, Ben Wheeler, Alicia Taylor-Hendrix, and our guest artist Adam Larson to join us this year. We are sure that this camp will be life changing and are looking forward to uplifting our audiences this year.

If you are available, come on out to the Sheldon on Friday evening July 19 at 6:30pm to witness our culminating concert featuring our students, faculty, and guest Artist Adam Larson. The concert is free, but we would be most appreciative of your donations. We hope to see you there.

General information

HEAL Center for the Arts is committed to developing young intellectual artists whom we believe will positively influence the way in which our society thinks and feels by creating and presenting meaningful art. We are able to achieve this because our students are trained through a rigorous curriculum that is both challenging and engaging from world renowned artist and educators. Our students are taught with love, fervor, and dedication. They are learning what it means to be disciplined, structured, and most importantly, they are being taught to rise above the nefarious and complicit behaviors that continue to plague their communities.
