I have attended several AIAA conferences as a trailing spouse, which is a terrible name. I don’t know anyone else at the conference other than my spouse, who is at meetings and papers during the day. I would enjoy the opportunity to meet and network with other trailing spouses. I sat by the pool at the recent Orlando conference and observed several trailing spouses hanging out. I spoke to several and they would also like an opportunity to meet others. Not asking for much how about a small room and a spot in the program on the first morning of the conference? Sell as a family friendly thing and more people want to attend! Just my thought, hope someone else reads this post! 😊 Thank you
