Volunteer Reston

Volunteer Reston Getting Involved in Reston

The Reston Association (RA) truly values the benefits that volunteers bring to the community. Each year, community members donate thousands of hours to the Association in a variety of different areas. Some for longer-term and others for short-terms commitments. Either way, the varied talents and interests of each individual are matched with the right project or endeavor to provide a rewarding and enjoyable experience. The RA volunteer program consists of about 500 active volunteers, working in a variety of capacities and settings.

Mission: To preserve and enhance the Reston community through outstanding leadership, services and stewardship of our resources.

Keep Reston Green for all to Enjoy!
On this global day of giving, why not support the non-profit in your backyard? Our community gives us so much. Here is a chance to give back.

Help conserve our natural areas and support scholarship programs that enable all Reston kids to participate in the recreational and environmental education programs that are a hallmark of our community.

Today is #GivingTuesday, your chance to give back to the community which gives us all so much. Please consider making a gift to Friends of Reston at http://www.friendsofreston.org. Your donations will help our natural areas and provide scholarships so that all of Reston’s kids have the opportunity to get outdoors and participate in the wonderful programs that Reston is known for.
