ACRM Stroke ISIG

ACRM Stroke ISIG A leader in interdisciplinary stroke rehabilitation in clinical practice and research, this group promotes high standards of rehabilitation practice...

The work of the Stroke ISIG is done through its task forces and the ACRM Annual Conference events. An executive committee provides leadership. Participation in our four very active task forces is open to all members of the Stroke ISIG and new members are welcome. We invite all ACRM members and others thinking about joining the Stroke ISIG for the first time to contact any of the executive committee members or task force chairs to become part of a very exciting venture in ACRM. Our membership is growing – don’t be left behind…

Mission: The mission of the Stroke ISIG is to (1) promote opportunities for ACRM members to network with colleagues interested in promoting evidence-based rehabilitation for people with stroke and (2) serve as a vehicle for rehabilitation professionals of all disciplines to work together for the expressed mission of advancing the field of stroke rehabilitation.

The ACRM Board of Governors is pleased to announce that due to the pandemic, ACRM now offers TWO no-risk registration options for the 2020 Annual Conference:

IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL-ONLY

Choose significant savings with the VIRTUAL-ONLY option. If later circumstances permit you to attend in-person, ACRM will toggle your registration to the upgraded IN-PERSON option. You’ll keep your virtual access and pay the difference in registration fees.

But nothing beats the IN-PERSON ACRM Annual Conference option! Register now at the Early Bird rate and save up to 40% off. If later you are unable to attend in-person, ACRM will toggle your registration to the VIRTUAL-ONLY option and credit your account for the difference.

Our aim is to be prepared during this challenging time, so that nothing stands in the way of our mission to IMPROVE LIVES through interdisciplinary rehabilitation research.
REGISTER TODAY

For those who choose the IN-PERSON registration option, we want to assure you that new physical distancing and safety measures, following the CDC Guidelines, will be fully implemented.

For those who choose the VIRTUAL-ONLY registration option, we want to assure you that we will be making our very best efforts to LIVE-STREAM and record all of the content with 100s of CME/CEUs for the world's greatest RECORDED CONTENT offering.

And as a bonus, registrants will have access to the RECORDED CONTENT through 30 June 2021.

We are also working on exciting new VIRTUAL NETWORKING opportunities so that attendees and presenters can make meaningful connections before, during, and after the event.

For the first time ever ACRM will be offering both an IN-PERSON TRADESHOW and a VIRTUAL TRADESHOW. If you're interested in exhibiting, please contact Jenny Richard or +1.703.574.5845.

We hope you find this year's conference offering to be our very best ever.

Two Registration Options for #ACRM2020

Because of the #pandemic, we now have two registration options for #ACRM2020: IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL-ONLY

IN-PERSON registration option: social distancing & safety measures, following the CDC Guidelines, will be fully implemented.

VIRTUAL-ONLY registration option: we will be making our very best efforts to LIVE-STREAM & record all of the content with 100s of CME/CEUs for the world's greatest RECORDED CONTENT offering.

"ACRM is my professional home." —ACRM Past President, Deborah Backus, PT, PhD, FACRM, Eula C. and Andrew C. Carlos MS Rehabilitation and Wellness Program at Shepherd Center

"ACRM has been my professional home because it is one place where I am continuously challenged to think — to think bigger.

"I am challenged to attain new skills so that I can do a better job with my research to really impact and provide the evidence to move #rehabilitation #medicine forward.

"I love the energy of ACRM. I love that I can come here and I’m not just finding more people just like myself.

"I’m finding people that have similar passions that we’re all very passionate about the same thing but that they’re bringing their own strengths. I can collaborate with #researchers and #physicians with various backgrounds — #physicaltherapy, #occupationaltherapy, #physiatrist, #technology developers and engineers.

"I get to interact with and have very meaningful conversations with policymakers and funders so that we can all work better together and more powerfully to advance #rehabilitationmedicine."
