RST Virtual Race is only two weeks away
We work with social entrepreneurs and small organizations to help them achieve their goals and objectives.
We work with social entrepreneurs and small organizations to help them achieve their goals and objectives. We provide counsel and resources to help individuals and organizations plan, build and execute on their vision.
After receiving a request for support, we set up a meeting to understand the vision of the individual or the issue the organization faces. Once the CORE Foundation reviews and selects the individual or organization as a organization, a plan is put in place to help them achieve their goals. The foundation helps them identify support for their plan, contributes resources to get started, helps them market their initiative and provides an infrastructure that improves the individual or organization’s chance for success. As a 501c3 organization with a reputation of helping others, our organizations immediately benefit from the relationships we have built in the community.
Mission: We help others be the change they want to see in the world.

We use a four-phase process to support our organizations. Phase 1: Concept Development. A member of our Executive Team meets with the organization to understand the idea or issue. Our legal and tax teams may also participate during this phase. This phase concludes with an internal decision that an idea or issue falls within the mission of the foundation and we should select the individual or organization as an organization. Phase 2: Business Plan. We use business principles to plan for the individual or organization’s success. This includes helping the organization develop a budget, put together a core group of people to lead the initiative and create a schedule for the initiative. This phase ends with the decision to invest resources into the organization. Phase 3: Organization Support. We support our organization organizations in a variety of ways as they begin work on their initiative. We have vendor relationships, volunteer resources, marketing capabilities and financial resources that help the organizations we support. A member of our executive team reviews submitted materials with internal and, at times, external resources and works with our organizations to refine their plan. Phase 4: Develop and Grow. During the life of the organizations the executive sponsor and organization work together and keep in close communication to understand progress and the challenges of ongoing work. Some of our organizations want to grow their contributions to the initiatives they support, others are happy to do good work year in and year out under our umbrella and others look to graduate from our support to become their own 501c3. We support all of these goals. We maintain consistent communication and invite our organizations to share feedback early and often. At the end of each year, the organization will work with a foundation executive to submit an annual report that summarizes the results achieved and lessons learned.
