Giving | Duke Raleigh Hospital | Duke Health

Amidst this challenging time we are excited to support Duke Raleigh Hospital with a donation to its PG Fox Fund to support the operation of its COVID 19 Compassion Cart. This cart is used by the hospital chaplain when he/she visits doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff at least once per week and is stocked with snacks, etc. to be provided free of charge to those individuals. Holly Bradicich, who is Manager of Service Excellence and Volunteer Services, sent the following message: “This is wonderful! Thank you again for your kindness! The compassion cart is bringing joy to all team members at least once a week. We look forward to continuing this with the help of your donation.” If anyone wants to support this cause individually, they can use the following link https://www.dukehealth.org/hospitals/duke-raleigh-hospital/giving Then donate to the PG Fox Fund by credit card and, in the comments section related to their donation, specify that the donation is to be used for the COVID 19 Compassion Cart.

Many thanks to Shannon Hardy and Exploris Middle School for allowing Scott D. Sorrell, Advanced Planning Advisor and Neil Balas the opportunity to offer our 4 Way Test Essay Contest to her 8th grade students. Rotary’s 4 Way Test is:

1- Is it the truth?
2- Is it fair to all concerned?
3- Will it build good will and better friendships?
4- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

These 8th graders are our winners and did a great job writing and doing videos of how they apply the 4 Way Test!
