My daughter and I took the Doula course in Kansas City MO at the ICEA conference. Her stuff is packed up because they are selling their house, and my files have been purged because I retired. She wants to know who taught the course that time. I figured someone out there would know.
Hello! I have your skin to skin position paper and was hoping to see if you had a copy translated into Spanish for my Spanish-speaking families? Thank you!
I signed up and printed my curriculum for CBE and I can’t seem to find it to go back to. Help!!!!!
I received this announcement today. I am so glad that our hospital (Des Moines, Iowa) took a proactive stand and aligned with AWHONN. COVID-19:Doula Support During Visitor Restrictions During this time with COVID-19 preventive protocols in place for visitor restrictions in hospitals, many of you have asked about the role of doula. MercyOne share's AWHONN - The Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses's stance on the importance of doula support during labor and delivery. Please know that all doulas (whether volunteer staff or private practice doulas), ARE still welcomed and doula services will be offered at MercyOne. As always, if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms, you should NOT provide doula care to families. We are collaborating with other obstetric medical leadership teams to manage visitor restriction protocols and more information will be shared when it becomes available. #doulawhatyoulove

Hey, I'm looking for a certified ICEA birth educator who can review my classes for my certification. Would anyone be willing to help a sista out? Or point me in the right direction?☺️
Has anyone taken the Childbirth Educator test within the past 6months? I'd love to chat with you about it! Thank you so much!
Hello All, I am starting my journey for certification and I was wondering if anyone out there is starting too so maybe we can connect? I am in Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley Area. Thank you!
Thank you, Vonda Gates, for your help assisting me to become an ICEA certified childbirth educator. Your workshop gave me so many helpful teaching tips and your feedback on my teaching series was an encouragement to me!
Is there a study group that gets together online, or in person in certain cities/states, where someone who is studying to get their ICEA certification can join? I am in need of a study group, or more guidance/step-by-step really, when it comes to studying the material and preparing myself for a 6 week teaching series and then of course the final exam! I am located in Nashville, TN. Anyone out here that wants to study together?!?!
Is anyone at ICEA checking emails???
Hello, I have heard a lot about music therapy when giving birth. Can anyone tell me if they used music and if they feel it worked.
