A lot of people are asking when we're opening and if there is any news. We're still working behind the scenes but need your help.
We have come a long way since the idea of Life Together Raleigh was conceived back in May (then called The Raleigh Center). We look a lot different than we did then too. Currently we have 5 board members, an executive director, and an administrative manager. We intend to continue to operate wit

One of the main resources we are working to offer is assistance with obtaining photo identification. A lack of proper identification affects your ability to find work, housing, and access to other resources. Your donations to life together can help us cover the costs of postage, copies of required documents, and the space to keep these documents secure. If you haven't already, please consider making a donation today! We open our doors on November 13th, and look forward to seeing you soon!
You can check out this article for more information on how a lack of photo identification has affected communities specifically in NC during the election last year.

Some things we really need in order to be ready to serve our community:
chairs, tables, bookshelves (and books!), and a coffee pot.
We have a wishlist on Amazon, but we'd gladly accept second hand items!
We are set to move in officially on November 1st, and these donations will go immediately to helping us get the door open for our community and partners!

Life Together Raleigh
From Katherine:
Things are starting to move quickly now! We have been working together over the last few months to discern who and what this ministry should be for the Raleigh community. We've bounced around ideas about space, mission, vision, staffing, and services. Where God has led us now is very different from where we started, but the Board and I feel that we are on a good path. Because of the evolution of our conversations and discernment we have come to the realization that "The Raleigh Center" doesn't quite convey who we are. At our last meeting we had a community brain storm and kept coming back to the same conclusion. We need a name that speaks to who we are.
Because of this, I am proud to announce the new name of this ministry: Life Together
We are planning on announcing our location by the end of this week, and over the next few days we will be transitioning our social media over to the new name. This change has been reported to the IRS and will assume and build on the groundwork laid by TRC.
Stay Tuned!
Currently working on changing the name of this page, and getting our google domain switched over. Thank you all for your patience!
