NC Sustainable Energy Association

NC Sustainable Energy Association Sharing information about our sustainable future. Founded in 1978, NCSEA is a 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization of individuals, businesses, government and non-profits interested in North Carolina's sustainable energy future.
(3)

Located in Raleigh, but active throughout the state, NCSEA is the only non-profit in North Carolina devoted to leading public policy change and driving market development in ways that will create green jobs in a new energy economy. NCSEA knows that it takes much more than one program, policy or group to achieve a sustainable energy future and economy for North Carolina, which is why we work with NCSEA members, government officials, business leaders, communities, partner organizations and the general public. We believe the key to success is through removing policy barriers to market development, advocating for policies that will lead to a sustainable energy future, and educating North Carolinians about sustainable energy - all of which will help the industry grow.

Mission: The North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association works to ensure a sustainable future by promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency to the benefit of North Carolina through education, public policy and economic development.

At NCSEA, we believe clean energy works for ALL - teachers, doctors, military, students, and YOU. Today marks the launch of our Clean Energy Works for All Campaign to support our mission of advancing clean energy development and policy in North Carolina. Despite the pandemic, we experienced many clean energy wins in 2020 including the net energy metering settlement, 500+ new and engaged Women in Clean Energy (WICE) participants, and a property tax study demonstrating the positive impact that solar has on local tax revenue. Donating to our campaign will ensure we can continue making clean energy work for all in 2021. Give a contribution today! https://energync.org/cleanworks
