I've made a website to reduce climate change - www.buyrenewablesnow.com. I encourage you to find (or create) a website that will reduce climate change more. I've found few businesses in North Carolina that have done renewable energy projects. To find businesses throughout the country that have done renewable projects I've searched the websites of solar installers and used word searches, such as "north carolina solar fill in the blank." The blank might be filled in with different types of businesses: lodging, restaurant, dentist, veterinarian, etc. Please let me know if you're aware of businesses in NC that have done renewable energy projects that aren't on the website at [email protected]. If your organization comes up with any, you'll get a thank you at the start of the NC listings, if you want one.

We need help fast with William B. Umstead State Park. The RDUAA is voting Jan 20 to start building a fence immediately that will cut off one of the main trails entering the park. They are doing this because they want to lease public land to Wake Stone to build another rock quarry outside the park. We have to preserve this small but precious park and not allow the RDUAA to destroy it. Not only does the quarry pose huge environmental effects on the area, just the building of the fence will deforest a large portion of the surrounding area. We need help fighting this!
