Great having local intersted walkable neighbor couple, Krissy and Justin, and NCSU Ag retired professor, Ted, join me to check out the garden today! Looking forward to the season :)

It's time to plant and I can't wait to get the tiller out here.

Ted recommended raised beds, using mulch for paths, getting soil retested, has a bunch of seeds to give us, and gave some easy efficient garden tips :) which we all can appreciate!

Ways to help now if you need some ideas while we get our till and leveling plan you can :

Gather and start seeds and ask gardner friends for transplants to share

Research and think about planning
- the aroma therapy garden
- natural building ideas /aesthetics
-anti inflammatory veggies and medicinal herbal garden
-plants that like to grow together
-low maintenance gardening tips!!

02/25/2018

Hello! It's that time of year again! Please let us know if you're wanting to get involved. Let us know here what organic seeds and transplants you have. Seed trays needed now if you have them! And a better tiller perhaps if anyone has the hook up.

Can't wait to see all the new life there again with the fence up this year!

Hello garden friends! I have an update. Moving mulch in the rain is a frustrating thing. We will be out there if the weather clears up a little later, but not until then. Thank you all and stay tuned for our next workday!

03/10/2016

We are having a workday this Saturday to fill some huge, beautiful planters with earth. Come out to sweat and get your hands dirty - it feels so good. 9am-1pm. Spread the word!

03/06/2016

Raised beds are started on the sunny lot! Six trays of seeds started, and more plants already in :) .... Yay spring!
