While youth ministry is focused (understandably) on youth, organizers often forget that a crucial part in keeping a youth ministry strong is investing in its leaders. No ministry is run by one person alone! It takes a team, and for a team to function well, it needs to be focused, unified, and growing.

On the 20th anniversary of one of the darkest days in American history, we would like to honor and thank the first responders and military personnel who keep us safe. We will never forget those who died, but we look to Jesus with hope, and trust in His redemptive plan for us all.

God Bless America; we will #neverforget.

2020 was a long year (especially without camps!) but if anything was reaffirmed during the turmoil, it’s the fact that the gospel still works. In Romans 1:16, Paul tells us that the gospel “… is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” We’re excited to see God working at Word of Life Camps once more this year, and we hope you’re excited about your ministry as well.

Feeling a bit daunted? Check out our newest Fifty1 blog for some pointers on how you can clearly share the gospel with your students.

I wanted ti share this Celbration Day with the LCM Dep. BEFORE the rest of WOL because the MAJORTY of this joy-Filled day is because, of LCM. It is long and I can tell more belly laught so hard your stomch hurts later. For now what God has done and the many salvations close to 300 of them in 15 years. So here is to all of us starting in Michigan! Today is avery special day in my community of White Cloud, Michigan. A very simple humble day it was. A day where the start of a Problem Solver Christian Outreach was born. On this day the Youth Center open it's Doors to Young People look for a place to go after school. You see in Rural America there are many postive thing as in a most towns friendly and caring about each other. That is my Town of White Cloud, Michigan. The downside of Rural America is it lacks places for people to gather and have a healthy wholsome place to congrgate for all ages. As a Child and Youth my friend and I complained about that all the time because, we did not want to Fish 100 hours a week, Play Sports, read books, do Art Projects to take up our time growing up. You say ''Miss Deb Frisbey your a Teacher tho how can you say these things''? It is easy because, it is the truth of the matter. I ran my Frisbey-Chien Mouth to God in my heart and said God all of these thing lack in my community! God in my heart said OK then YOU FIX IT. I was like I can God I have $0 money. God responed with ''you have ten cents and I will provovide when you have need''. So in 2003 I put up flyers about my program I thought would be once a week like Rural Bible Mission Bible Clubs. On this day in 2004 I was NOT ready to TEACH provide Snacks let alone host anyone. The Doorbell rang and behind the Door stood two girls asking me if there was Bible Club on that day. I was like OH,YES,!!! So I had the Word of Life Local Church Ministries Quite Time Dirary so I quicklly put a lesson together and snack. Then we played games as well. So many of you saw me up at the local Public school diging out of the Trash for Pop Cans(Soada) It was to buy Basic Suppies for the Center. I was collcting the cans to buy the Quiet Tims back when they were $9.00. So at first we had two girls for a few weeks. Then more students started to come on Club Day. Then they came by to just talk on Non-Club Days. Then they came everyday at random hours. A lots of stories I could tell there. So towards the end of the summer early Fall we had to have Open and Close Business Hours. We even have a Day Camp two days a week in the Summer for 8 weeks. Today is our 15th Birthday of Ministry The Youth Center Of White Cloud Inc. we Co-Labor with Word of Life Local Church Ministries a Division of Word Of Life Fellowship based in Pottersvill-Schroon Lake NY. We do not take a Red Cent from the State of Michigan or the Federal Goverment to fund the program. We obtained our 501(c)3 of June 30th 2014. We would love donations you can send it to The Youth Center Of White Cloud Inc. 847 East Adda St. White Cloud, Michigan. Put in the MemoLine if you want it in the Genral Fund or to Deb Frisbey support Fund. If you have any questions you may call 231-689-1156. You may also Message us in Youth Center Facebook Message Center or drop us an Email at [email protected] , I check it daily.
Looking or any Youth WOL clubs that could share some "share prayer" ideas. Thanks
