We wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has donated towards our rescue this year.

It has been such a tough year for so many. And yet, when we have needed help you have stepped up to help save more dogs, to help towards life saving surgeries, and towards supplying vital medicines to our fospice dogs keeping them comfortable and pain free.

We cannot thank you all enough for your donations, no matter how big or small, every little helps.

We recently had a donation in memory of Penny Barker and we are so grateful to her family for choosing us to receive the donation. We are 100% volunteer based, so all money donated goes directly towards saving more dogs and helping those already with our wonderful foster families.

Thank you everyone. We really couldn’t do it without you 🐾 ❤️🐾

Sweet senior needs a home.

This is Izzy! Izzy is 14, blind and has diabetes. He needs insulin shots twice a day. Insulin cost about 50 bucks a month. Dogs typically use smell more than sight, so blindness isn’t as challenging as it sounds. He will need you to protect him from things he cannot see, but he gets around very well on his own. He weighs under 15 pounds and is very sweet. Izzy’s parents can no longer take care of him. If you can give a home to this sweet little guy so he can live out his golden years happily PM us.

Meet Winnie and her Bestie Buddy Boy! Winnie and Buddy are the best of pals and must be adopted together. They are sweet 1 to 2 year old deer head Chihuahuas weighing in at just 7 pounds each. Winnie and Buddy are good little fur babies but will need an owner who understands that they need boundaries and consistent training. They are not good with cats and like to chase them. Additionally it is advised that they be in a home with older children. Both are crate, potty and leash trained and ready for their forever home! If you would like to meet Winnie and Buddy please fill out an application at K9ppr.org and an adoption volunteer will be in touch with more information.

From broken to besties.
From scared to safe.
From loathed to loved.
From concrete floors and cages to comfy, warm beds.
From abuse to adored.
From neglect to nourished.
From dying alone, to being loved in their last few months.
From helpless to happy.
This is what we do.
This is what “you” do.
The life of rescue is not easy, or pretty, or without heartbreak.
But look at the result.
Look at all these happy faces.
Look at all these beautiful babies who were given another chance at life.
And if you could see them, look at all the tails wagging, full bellies, soft beds and sweet doggie dreams.
All because of you.
Our rescue runs on you.
You.
Whether you volunteer, foster, help at events, share our posts, donate a couple of dollars or are a regular monthly donor, adopt from us or just simply stand there cheering us on.
You are the ones helping save all these dogs, some of whom would never have made it out of the shelter.
So thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Today is #givingtuesday . Like all rescues and good causes our flow of donations has been been severely impacted this year. We get it.
We have a number of fospice dogs in our care who need medications and regular check ups. Wr have to pay for spay and neuters, puppy vaccines, deworming, flea and tick treatments, food for fosters and all of the vet bills from life saving surgeries and medical intake appointments for all of our dogs.
These all cost money. Money that is currently running dry.
So, today, we need your help, your social media share and your donations to ensure that we can save more dogs, give more gentle souls another chance at life.
Every little helps, no amount is too small.
Please donate at www.paypal.me/K9PawPrintRescue or directly on our website at www.K9PawPrintRescue.org/donate
And thank you. Thank you for all that you do for these amazing dogs.

Sometimes it takes our fosters a while to find their forever homes.
However, we always know that the perfect home for them is out there somewhere.
That’s why we ask people to help share our posts on their social media as a way of helping us find these puppers their perfect landing spot.
Take Harry here. He was with us for a little longer than most, but when his new family met him it was love at first sight - just look at that big old grin! And Harry isn’t the kind of dog that bounds up to people and bonds easily, yet he went straight over and climbed into his new moms lap.
Sometimes it takes a while, but we believe these dogs deserve to live their best lives with the people they are meant to be with. Scroll through to see more photos of Happy Harry with his family.

Roxanne!!! 🎶🎼🎶🎼❤️

This sweet 8 month old girl is a Beagle-Rat Terrier mix weighing 19 pounds. Roxanne takes a minute to warm up, but once she does, she has active puppy energy and is very sweet and loving. Roxanne would benefit from socialization classes and, as you can tell by how much she loves her foster brother, would do best with another doggie. Roxanne is a gentle dog who loves everyone. She’s a bit timid and would be best in a home with kids over 10. She’s a lover and needs a patient loving household to become the best she can be. If you would like to meet Roxanne, fill out an application at K9ppr.org and an adoption volunteer will get in touch with you.

Grateful for all of our adopters on this wonderful Thanksgiving day!

Finally a PERFECT home for Benji!!! He took a long time and he was with us for over a year in foster. He spent that time learning that humans are friends. And now he has finally found a home with kind and patient hooman parents and a furry poodle brother who is going to help him warm up to people. When a dog goes from a hoarding situation to the perfect home inside a warm loving house, we can’t help but get a little weepy. So happy for ya Benji! You deserve no less.

Guys! We need everyone’s help on this one please. Potentially hospice: This sweet girl has had such hard luck and now she may need a hospice foster. Izzy’s hard luck, not including living outside for years with no medical attention, she has allergies, a bout with cancer (Which has been removed), and missing teeth, due to itching herself from fleas.
The vet who helped Izzy, tried to get all the cancer, and we think we did but it sounds like it will probably come back at some point. This girl deserves a home of her own where she can live the rest of her days, be that a year, or years. We would be happy to supply food and medical care, she just needs the right home without other animals. She loves kids, and her favorite thing to do is snuggle and sleep and give love.

Can everyone help network her for a home or hospice foster? Thank you

We are heartbroken 💔
.
Sometimes the life of rescue is hard, really hard.
Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our fospice boy Flint.
He took a turn for the worse and we had to let him go.
Flint, known as Buddy, to all who loved him, was a sweet, loyal, soulful and loving boy who had an incurable liver disease.
Thanks to the unwavering support, care and buckets of love from his mom, Kellie, he thrived in his home and lived a full, quality life.
Thank you Kellie for loving him and giving him the best life. Run free Buddy 🌈 💔
.
K9PPR has several fospice dogs like Flint, who reside with some of our loving foster families. We are so grateful to them all, it takes a special person to care for a terminally sick dog. If you would like to donate to help cover the costs of these fospice dogs then we would be very grateful, as every little helps us to help them with medications, vet visits, special foods etc. right now. Please go to our website www.K9PawPrintRescue.org to donate.

Pupdate! Sweet Kay, who was adopted this summer amidst the pandemic, seems to have found a buddy in her brother Nico. We are hoping no one breaks into her house because, despite her facial expression, she might lick them to death😂😂

here is Jackson a little over a year later
We’re wanting to adopt so we have quarantine time to bond. Do you know of any agencies that are processing adoptions remotely?
Stray Pitbull little girl. Low energy. Weak. No signs of agression. Looks very tired. Any immediate help will be appreciated. Thank you!
Here's George, 6 years later, and he is coming up on his one year of TPLO surgery. 😊
Male: Found this afternoon off Balfour and Deer Valley Rd. He's very sweet about 2-4 years old? not neutered. Vet called the # from his chip, no call back from owners. We can hold him this one night (Thurs) The folks at vet said Martinez is a no kill shelter, unless someone else can foster him, we'll take him there tomorrow (Fri) He's in Brentwood now.
Thank you for letting me join
Join us for rescue fundraiser! All we have to do is eat and mention flyer!
I want to write a big/major THANK YOU to K9 Paw Print Rescue because of then we are reunited with Mia, our family dog who has been apart of our lives for over 20 years. We thank K9 so much for helping Mia out and helping us find her.
hi everyone. My neighbor is looking for chihuahua however she is a senior and she walks with the Walker so the dog would have to be leash trained and not afraid of an assistive device.
