Sisters Interceding for Sisters

Sisters Interceding for Sisters “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need”
Hebrews 4:16

The purpose of this ministry is to intercede (pray); stand in the gap between freedom and bo***ge for specific needs of ALL women, and those who are within, but not limited to the body of Christ. Sisters Interceding for Sisters,Inc believe that when women pray with and for each other the hearts of women are uplifted, and chains begin to break. When chains begin to break, trust begins, and when trust begins healing is inevitable. If women are too shut down and closed off within themselves, they can’t allow an opening for true heart healing. So we invite God’s wisdom and humility to work within us so that we may use it to help one another through prayer and support. We are committed to uplifting, teaching, encouraging, and helping to heal the hearts of women. Helping them understand how to pray for, not only themselves, but for others. We come together against the enemy by rebuking gossip, backbiting and pity parties! We invite the Holy Spirit to rearrange our thinking and free us from all negative thoughts and memories that bind us from the blessings God has for us. We hold in confidence all prayers of our sisters, and hold them up in Christ by faith. We commit to praising, worshipping and thanking God for not only our blessings, but also our trials. Knowing that He is in control of everything, and it is He who will bring us through. Our daily repentance and self reflection is the ongoing commitment we make in striving to become more Christ-like. "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him."
1John 5: 14 - 15

"My sisters...
Giving up is not an option, no matter how difficult the journey! You have amazing goals and dreams. Please do not let those dreams die. Know that someone is waiting on what is to come through you... a mentorship, your book, or a business that has to be birthed through you. So pick those dreams back up, dust them off, and get back on track. You are much closer than you think."

Why not me? "Who better to stand in your shoes right now? It's an empowering question for good times and for challenging moments. When something bad happens, we moan, "Why me?" - as if we believe someone else should roll the dice and come up short. Walk through that open door! Put fear aside, Have faith in yourself, and say aloud, "Why not me? I can do this." -C. White

Father in heaven, bring to mind for me today the people you want me to pray for. May I lift them up before you in love and compassion. Bless them and draw them close to you, Lord. In Jesus, Amen

Matthew 13:11 "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.”

Have you ever tried to learn another language? That is not an easy task, but you can become fairly fluent if you put in the effort to learn. It is quite another challenge, though, to learn the subtle nuances and humor of a language. To get to that level, you usually need to immerse yourself in the culture and talk with the local people every day.

Jesus called his disciples, and they followed along with him as their teacher. They were willing to spend time with him and learn from him constantly. In fact, they spent all their time with him, and eventually they learned and began to understand his purposes.

To those who are willing to live fully in his kingdom Jesus gives the secrets of the kingdom. But all who are not willing to turn to Jesus, and to ask and learn why he has come, will stand on the periphery, unable to understand the nuances, the mysteries.

Do you need to press further in? Do you need to spend more time listening to the whispers that Jesus speaks to your heart? He wants us to turn to him and be forgiven, and to have life to the full! This is the only condition for life in his kingdom.

Lord Jesus, I am willing. Help me to press into you and immerse myself in the full life of your kingdom. In your name, Amen.

Want to be successful? Consult the Lord

"As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success." 2 Chronicles 26:5 NIV

Someone has said, “Before you try to climb the ladder of success, make sure it’s leaning against the right wall.” Now let’s be clear. When your intention is to do God’s will and honour Him, He promises success. It’s a mistake to associate all wealth with carnality and brand it as “worldly.” Prosperous, committed Christians in every generation have been instrumental in taking the gospel to the world and establishing God’s kingdom. Read these two promises. The first seems male-oriented: “Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever” (Psalm 112:3 NKJV). The second seems female-oriented: “Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honour” (Proverbs 3:16 NKJV). Some of us have a false concept of success. The story is told of three men talking about what success would be for them. One said, “Being invited to the White House for a personal meeting with the president would be success.” The second said, “To me success would be meeting with the president in the Oval Office, having the hotline ring during our talk, and watching the president ignore it.” The third guy said, “To me, success would be meeting with the president in the Oval Office, the hotline rings, and he picks it up and says, ‘It’s for you.’” If you go to, you’ll find over 2,500 books on how to be successful. But you only need one book: God’s Word. Here’s what it says: “As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.” Want to be successful? Consult the Lord.

From "Word for you today"

Galatians 2:20 Amplified Bible - I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Some often get caught up in the fact that Christ died for the sins of our past, and tend to forget or not mention the sins of today. He died for all sin...past and present, and is still walking with us today. Let us not get so caught up in our past mistakes, that we forget that Christ is still with us right now. We can still call on Him. We can still lean on Him, and He is still right there holding us up. He helped us through our past, and is still helping us today.

Sisters...stay encouraged! Step out on faith! Lift your heads! Call His name...and trust Him with ALL that you have.

In His service

Say it Like You Mean it: Sincerity

Human beings have a remarkable capacity for turning the sacred into something ordinary. The constant stream of undervalued possessions, experiences, and relationships that comes in the wake of our consumerism is a relatively mild example of this. But this is a problem as old as humanity itself.

Somehow, we are able to come face to face with God, seeing his power and beauty in ways that can steal our breath, and over time turn those interactions into something ordinary. Something we try to manipulate. Shockingly, we often try to turn our interactions with God into something that can be used to impress other people.

For this reason, Jesus had to remind us that our interactions with him need to be sincere. In his famous Sermon the Mount, Jesus explained that we can easily turn giving to those in need into a human-focused thing. Then he exposed the outwardly religious who turn prayer into a performance art, meant to impress.

Prayer, Jesus reminds us, is about speaking to God. Sure, other people will sometimes hear what we say to God. But if we ever find ourselves praying with other people in mind, we can be sure that we’ve distorted prayer. If we ever find ourselves praying according to some formula or out of mindless obligation, we can be sure we have distorted prayer.

Do you find yourself speaking directly to God? You’re on the right track. Do you find yourself speaking with God about the things that matter most to you? That’s prayer. If it feels devoid of relationship, then it’s not prayer. If it feels stuffy or lifeless, it’s not prayer. Prayer is the impulse to speak to God; just be sure you say what you mean.

You know all human hearts, O God. Purify ours so that we can be your children after your own heart. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, you are infinite in your power. You are the perfect image of God, and your presence fills the universe. Fill us today with confidence in your ultimate goodness and love. In your name we pray. Amen.

"One of the stunning realities of the Christian life is that in a world where everything is in some state of decay, God's mercies never grow old. They never run out. They never are ill timed. They never dry up. They never grow weak. They never get weary. They never fail to meet the need. They never disappoint. They never, ever fail, because they really are new every day. Form fitted for the challenges, disappointments, sufferings, temptations, and struggles with sin within and without are the mercies of our Lord. Sometimes they are:

Awe-inspiring mercies
Rebuking mercies
Strengthening mercies
Hope-giving mercies
heart-exposing mercies
Rescuing mercies
Transforming mercies
Forgiving mercies
Provision-making mercies
Uncomfortable mercies
Glory-revealing mercies
Truth-illumining mercies
Courage-giving mercies"

"Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see:
All I have needed thy hand hath provided-
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!"

Praying that God's mercies bless you as you go through the day
