The Carteret County Sheriff's Office, Carteret County Health Department, and law enforcement agencies across the county will hold the fall "Pills Can Kill" event today from 10 am to 2 pm at the five Food Lion locations in Carteret County. Bring all unused prescription medications to the event for safe disposal.

Last night we got together to celebrate 8 men and women who graduated from our 6-month recovery program. We are so proud of you all!!!
We'd also like to send a special thank you to the Carteret County Sheriff's Office, the Craven County Sheriff's Office, Trillium Health Resources, Peer Recovery Center, and Hope Mission of Carteret County.
It's with all these amazing partnerships that we are able to help those who need recovery!

We had 4 men who are about to complete our 6-month recovery program request to be baptisted.
We took everyone out to the beach endured the cold and honored that request. It was a great time and one that will not be forgotten soon.

General information

Applicants for admission to the program at our recovery homes typically have a referral from an inpatient treatment facility or detox center or jail. Upon admission, participants must pass a drug and alcohol test. State funding available for those who qualify. Participant Expectations/Requirements (some of our “House Rules”) While remaining drug and alcohol free, Participants are expected to: Attend recovery meetings at least 5 times a week Intensive 12-Step study meetings weekly Participate in a daily Program emphasizing Spiritual Principles as a designed way of living. Attend faith-based functions and events. Attend internal AA Meeting weekly Attend functions/events Attend weekly house meetings and times of meditation Observe a strict curfew system. Behave in a mature manner consistent with residency in a faith-based spiritual program of recovery.
