We partner with ministries to help those who are most vulnerable and need to experience the love of Jesus in tangible ways. Without the support of others we could not do this. Every child deserves a chance and because of your support we continue to help. But, there are many children who still need a chance. Would you consider donating to give a child a chance?

ANY amount will help! Thank you.

Dear Fellow Supporters of She Learns,

My name is Ashley Easter and I am the USA-based Advisor for the She Learns non-profit organization in Kampala, Uganda.

I want to start by thanking you for your prayers and financial support for She Learns. Our Founder and Managing Director, Fred Sabaggala, has informed me of your care and compassion for the women and girls we empower through She Learns.

I am here to share another exciting opportunity for all of us at She Learns:

As you know, nearly 100% of your donations go directly to services for the women and girls reached by She Learns. Fred Sebaggala spends countless unpaid hours serving the community and leveraging your funds to feed, educate and empower women and girls.

Fred and Angela brought a beautiful baby into the world in December. Her name is Ashley, named after me (what an honor). While Fred and Angela receive a small stipend from She Learns, with a new baby, their budget needs to expand to provide all of the care and blessings this little girl needs.

Fred and Angela have wisely proposed that they open a small business as a source of income to pay for their rent, food and to clear up some bills. She Learns is still growing, but the Sebaggalas need to have a personal income to keep moving forward in the midst of it all.

With our help, they will be opening up a retail shop to sell domestic items like sugar, rice, soap, bread, toothpaste, toilet paper, and soft drinks like soda, juice, and water. After getting renting the space and buying the refrigerator, operations can begin.

Fred has already scouted out a location, and his mother has her own shop, so he knows the business well. We need to raise $1000 to secure the shop rental space, purchase a refrigerator, pay for electricity, and stock the store for a few months while their customer base grows.

Fred says: “Serving people is our commitment, and your support keeps us on the front line to transform lives. When you support us by investing in our new business, we are able to focus and concentrate on the work of She Learns.”

Will you help us get this business off the ground to provide for baby Ashley
and further, the work of She Learns?

Love and peace.

Help Getrude and her 6 children!

Getrude lives in the Kawaala villege in Uganda. She is a widow with 6 children, ages 2-10. She is in need of a new home. She is currently renting, but the house leaks when it rains. We are making arrangements to move the family to a safe place, but are asking for support to help Getrude start a small business selling charcoal and vegetables. A business will not only provide food for the family, but it will empower Getrude and her children with sustainable livelihood.

Any financial support is appreciated and will make a difference for this family.

It is with deepest sorrow that we write this message. It is never easy to find the right words when a family suffers the loss of a loved one and a dear friend has passed away.

We are sadden for the loss of this admired-strong-beautiful woman. Our dear Pastor Grace Kaahwa of JINJA Miracle Centre Gateway Church in Uganda.

We will forever be inspired by her actions, love and compassion for others and her love for Christ. She will live in our hearts and memories.

May our Lord bless, comfort and strengthen you Pastor Robert Kaahwa and family during this difficult time of grief. Please accept our sincere condolences.

“Because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus . . . we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day. For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure, because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.” (2 Cor. 4:14, 16–18, NRSV)

HELP DURING THE PANDEMIC!

COVID-19 has many of us panicking, and some of us wondering what we can do to actually make a difference and help the less privileged. This outbreak has had a significant impact on the most vulnerable populations, including pregnant women, the elderly and children.

.
Helping people get food and medical help during the Coronavirus Pandemic in Uganda is one way to help. Your taxable gift will help provide food for families in need during these difficult times and pregnant women about to give birth who lack transportation and medical attention as they are in lock down and without a job.

.
If you want to help ensure food and medical help are delivered to those who need it most, please donate to our UGANDA COVID-19 RELIEF FUND and help us save lives. Even $1 will make a difference. Together, we can help one, two, or ten more families in need.

.
Your donation is greatly appreciated and we hope and pray you are safe and staying home to help reduce the spread.

A marathon to get more of God.

“When we know we are but dust, when our hearts have been crushed — is exactly when we are meant to entrust all into the hands of the Potter, so He can remake all to be more like Christ.”

Giving up something for the love of Jesus —isn’t really giving up anything when He gave up everything for the ones He loves.

Thank you to all that came out to our Sister to Sister Sewing Bee celebration luncheon today. We are grateful for your support making the reusable menstrual pads, for the supplies and monetary donations and for coming back today to hear our praise report and how you can continue to be a part of this ongoing initiative. Because the vision has only began unfolding and more is yet to come.

It was good to see some of you and encouraging to hear how empowering this all was for you as well as for the hundred of women and girls in Uganda. And a big shout out to all our brothers here in the US and in Uganda that took part of this project as well. Great work everyone! ❤️

Hello RevWell friends!! It’s great to be back from Uganda. And we can’t wait to see you all tonight. And hug you🤗

Here is a video to get you motivated🤸🏻‍♀️ We are at a new church that meets on a slump village! Their energy and love for Christ was so encouraging and filled our hearts for this community. As you can see, while some of our team members were leading the adults, others of us were in the back keeping the children moving! What a fun day that was!

We hope to see you in class tonight!

We were guest speakers at the Victoria 92.5 FM radio station in Uganda! It was a unique experience and a great opportunity to share about the work God is doing thru our ministry, projects and initiatives. But most importantly to reach a wider audience to talk about the love and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because “The time has come, and the kingdom of God is near.” And everyone must hear the Good News!

It was a blessed morning.
