Please feel free to like and share and let’s make #Rumble23 a great one! www.rumbleinfortwayne.com
RUMBLE IN FORT WAYNE – DEC. 18 & 19 UPDATE! Officials of the Rumble in Fort Wayne indoor open-wheel classic have been given a ‘green flag’ from the Allen County Department of Health to proceed with scheduling the December 18 & 19 event. However, the ‘caution flag’ remains displayed as the Rumble team resolves how best to satisfy the required COVID-19 parameters and CDC guidelines. Here is the current status of #Rumble23. During these unprecedented times, we realize that event details can change daily and are dependent upon local health numbers. We will continue to monitor the situation and announce any updates to this information as they are passed along to us. Thanks for your support and understanding during this difficult time. https://www.rumbleinfortwayne.com/
It’s that time again! 22nd Annual "RUMBLE in FORT WAYNE" - December 27 & 28, 2019. It's the racing holiday "Family Reunion"! Two days of exciting, high-speed, action-packed racing action INDOORS at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, IN. See TONY STEWART, RICO ABREU and the best-of-the-best Midget; 600 Mini Sprint; Go-Kart; and Quarter Midget drivers in the country do battle on one of the biggest, fastest indoor tracks anywhere! For the 22nd Rumble, SIX classes have been selected to showcase Quarter Midget racing. They are: Jr. Honda (250#); Sr. Honda (270#); Light 160 (270#); Heavy 160 (325#); Heavy 120 (325#); and Animal Combined (300#). Trophies will be presented to the top-5 in each class, each day and at least two QM Features will be run each night, in front of a full crowd, as part of the Midgets program. Keep in mind, this is not your typical “club” event and may not be for everyone. But it is the perfect training ground for those looking to move to the “next level” of racing. It introduces a new intensity of speed, sharpens reactions, and even teaches a bit of drafting, while competing in a similar format to all the other Rumble classes in front of a large, enthusiastic crowd. Rumble QM alumni include Erik Jones (Monster Cup), Cale Conley (Xfinity Series), Austin Prock (2019 NHRA “Rookie of the Year” and USAC Champion), Zeb Wise, (2019 BC 39 winner) Cooper Clouse, Austin Nemire, and others. The first 25 pre-entries will receive free parking, and ALL pre-entries will receive a FREE event t-shirt and participation medal. The Rumble Series is proud to announce that there will be NO INCREASE in grandstand admission; pit passes; or entry fees for the 22nd annual event. Adult admission (per day) is $20 ($24 reserved) – Kids 12-and under $10 ($14 reserved). Tickets available through Ticketmaster or at the Coliseum Box office. Pit passes (sold day of event only) are $32 per day or $60 for a two-day pass. FREE Thursday, Dec. 26 practice with purchase of two-day pit pass! Pre-Enter by December14 to have your name appear on the commemorative shirts and souvenir program. Hear 8-time “Rumble” QM and 2019 USAC Midget “BC 39” winner ZEB WISE talk about his experiences and his advice for “Rumble” Rookies: https://www.facebook.com/177852124299/videos/502216307169587/?epa=SEARCH_BOX More information at: https://www.rumbleinfortwayne.com Entry Forms & Rules: https://www.rumbleinfortwayne.com/entry-forms https://www.facebook.com/Rumble-Racing-Series-177852124299/?fref=ts

22nd annual "RUMBLE in FORT WAYNE" presented by Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales - December 27 & 28, Quarter Midget entries available! PRE-ENTER AND SAVE $20! Once again, pre-entered QM drivers will be eligible for a $20 discount on the multi-day pit pass. Birth certificate will be required at time of purchase. This is courtesy of Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales. Again, this is for PRE-ENTERED drivers ONLY, and only one discount regardless of how many classes entered. Class entry is FREE and the pre-entry deadline is Dec. 14. It's the racing holiday "Family Reunion"! Two days of exciting, high-speed, action-packed racing action INDOORS at the historic Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, IN. See TONY STEWART, RICO ABREU, and the best-of-the-best Midget; 600 Mini Sprint; Go-Kart; and Quarter Midget drivers in the country do battle on one of the biggest, fastest indoor tracks anywhere! The Rumble in Fort Wayne is a very special experience. It is different from a club event; it is what has become referred to as "the next step in moving up the racing ladder". It is an opportunity to learn in a unique racing experience - how to handle speed; a taste of drafting; a taste of discipline; and a taste of racing under the guidelines used on America's grassroots tracks. We are excited and proud to see the success of Rumble QM racing graduates like: Erik Jones, Cale Conley, Austin Prock, Zeb Wise, Cooper Clouse, Grant Galloway, Ross Rankine, A.J. & Jonathan Lesiecki, Austin Nemire, Cole Bodine and many more who have moved on to other forms of racing. Anyone tell me what time the races start at Pocono track tonight
RUMBLE IN FORT WAYNE TO CONTINUE RICH HISTORY An indoor racing tradition that planted its roots on January 6, 1956 returns to Fort Wayne this year over the weekend of December 27 and 28 with the running of the Rumble in Fort Wayne XXII. That historic day marked the birth of the nationally known United States Auto Club (USAC) with a Midget race on the floor of the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum as Gene Hartley collected that first checkered flag. It was only the beginning of what was to be a history-filled collection of racing during the winter months in Fort Wayne. And that history continues to be made inside the massive complex; however, on an ‘temporary’ racing oval vastly improved from the early years. Twenty-two years ago, a 108,000 square foot Expo Center was constructed alongside the original Coliseum and the racing transferred over to it; offering a much wider and longer racecourse. As the size of the oval expanded, so did the menu of racing; a menu that remains in effect for this year. Joining the Midgets for 2-days/nights of complete racing programs will be the winged and non-winged 600cc Midgets along with multiple divisions of Go Karts and Quarter Midgets. That concept demonstrates today’s growth pattern available to open wheel racers; a pattern that many have followed. This year’s edition is coming off the heels of a highly successful 2018 promotion. Coming off that success, promoter Larry Boos feels no need to change a proven product. As such, all event pricing will remain the same and the event format will mirror previous years, with some minor modifications to enhance the excitement and increase the fan/competitor involvement.
Being a Race Track Mom or Dad is hard. I know, I've been one for a very very long time now. I just wanted to give you all a quick word of encouragement, and remind you all that what you are doing with your kids is important and worth every dime and every minute. I also want to remind you all that your littles are watching everything you do. You are their role models, and not just for your own children, but every child at that track. As parents, you need to leave your egos at home, remember that this is for the kids....and no, I'm sorry, but your little johnnie or janie is probably not going to be the next Jeff Gordon, so you all need to sit back, let your kids be kids, and ENJOY every minute of this time with them, because it will be over in a flash! Quarter Midget Racing is about teaching the kids (and the parents) the rules of the sport, and most of all, that you can't win every race, that when you don't, you need to be a good sport and congratulate your friend. You will all make lifetime friends here at LVQMRC, I know we have! Support each other, answer questions, help folks out that are struggling, be kind....it's contagious. The number one rule you all need to follow is very simple. MAKE THIS FUN FOR YOUR WHOLE FAMILY!
Is there a schedule for this Friday and Saturdays racing?
Please contact Lauren Granger if you would like to donate any items for our upcoming events. Questions? Feel free to message me!
On Tuesday March 5 at the Dirt Track Heroes show we salute the quarter midget clubs and “Stars of Tomorrow” They will be interviewed and can talk about anything they would like. It has been a huge success in the past and a fun time for all. We would also like to have the quarter midget clubs on display at the mall. For the whole week. It is $200 and that includes 10 cars to have you display in the mall. We encourage you all to attend as it is great exposure for all. Please let me know if interested as soon as possible. We want to keep the sport alive and it starts with your groups and getting the names and faces out there. Anthony Chrobak will be a guest speaker that night talking about how the quarter midget ranks helped prepare him for the next step. I can be reached at 484-772-7184
