Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Leesville, LA

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Leesville, LA The Place Where God Blesses His People. We would like to pause and thank God, for the history of an organism that has weathered the storm for over 100 years.

We especially owe our gratitude to those pioneering Christians who had the courage and determination to keep the spiritual needs of their Christian belief a reality. Throughout the existence of the church, we have had only a few pastors to guide us along the way. Reverend C. Hubbard – 1901 to 1903
Reverend Henry Johnson – 1903 to 1906
Reverend W.C. McCraw – 1906 to 1911
Reverend C.N. McDade – 1912

As church attendance numbers fade across the nation and online services become very convenient (who doesn't love not getting ready in the morning or leaving the home?!), it's important to remember why church attendance for you and your family matters so much.

You can't serve from your sofa. You can't have community of faith on your sofa. You can't experience the power of a room full of believers worshipping together on your sofa.

Christians aren't consumers either. We are contributors. We don't watch. We engage. We give. We sacrifice. We encourage. We do life together.

The church needs you!
And you need the church!

Wherever you are, find a local church where you and your family can be a part of community and use your talents to advance the kingdom and reach others. To come alongside one another physically, not just through a screen. While I'm grateful for technology to keep people connected who can't physically come to a facility or who need to be away, it is absolutely not like being in the building.

Yes, church on the sofa is nice. But it will never be the same as church in the sanctuary!!

Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair; Perhaps you sent a floral spray, if so we saw it there; Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say; Perhaps you were not there at all just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, WE THANK YOU SO MUCH! LOVE THE CHILDREN OF DEACON THOMAS (BABY) ROBERTS TOMMY, JAMES IVY ( PEATY), ERVIN (E-ROB), TRACEY AND ILKA

My Greater Is Coming 👏❤❤❤❤❤❤👏 Enjoyed Service Today Via Internet. Thank You Lord👏
Pastor Garner, I'd just like to say that one of the things that you pointed out yesterday was the reason I chose to attend Pleasant Hill. I was looking for a church where the pastor teach and not all the hoopla (not the word you used), also one that's involved in promoting positveness in the kids..I don't go every Sunday but more than I used to..thank you
