Team Louisiana Announcement:
The Woodworth Shooting Range is hosting their 40thAnnual CENLA National Hunting and fishing Day on 28 September. This is an event that's targeted towards youth involvement in Outdoor activities from hunting, fishing and even froggen. Unfortunately, two of their major sponsors fell through this year, leaving them with quite a financial deficit, as well as needing volunteers. TFO Team LA is attempting to raise $500 dollars in order to support this event, as well as have staff go help where needed. All donations are welcome big or small, if you are able to contribute please use this Paypal Link to do so [email protected]. Any questions feel free to PM me or use the above email address.

There will be a link in the comments that shows some of the great event there are for the kids.

Trip Opportunity

Who: 1 Person, preferably someone who has minimal experience fishing.
What: Running Trotlines
When: 10 AUG 19, 0730 and 17:30
11 AUG 19, 0730
Where: Anacoco Lake, Louisiana

Alright folks, figured I’d give some people the opportunity to get out on the water with me this weekend and run my trotlines. And guess what, everything we pull, you get to keep. I’ve got 3 lines and close to 140 hooks I usually set on Friday and run through Sunday before it’s back to work. I’m averaging 3-5 blues and 1-2 Flats every check as well as plenty of Gar and turtles. It’s summer heat and fishing is moderately slow but the lines are still producing several double digit fish every check. If you’ve never been out in the bayou in the cypress this is a perfect opportunity to see a little glimpse of Louisiana only seen from a boat. I run my lines out of a flat back canoe that’s ultra quiet and the chance of having gators and other critters swim near us is pretty high early morning. All I ask is that you bring a fresh water fishing license as well as a good attitude. I’d like to take 3 different individuals out, one on each of the time frames listed above. If your interested in getting out, maybe getting your feet wet, and more than likely taking home some fresh fish i need you to smash that like button and comment with Here Kitty Kitty.

Posted on the Southern Region page. Go there to apply.

Got room for one, maybe 2 if you have another ground blind, Friday evening (1800 ish till whenever we get tired) for a sit on some stinky ass corn in hopes of seeing a hog. Hunt will be on private land around Polk, you’ll need a license, weapon of choice (75-100 yard shots) and whatever else makes you comfortable. Comment “I’ll go” and I’ll draw tomorrow at 1930. No this isn’t a guaranteed hog finding trip by any means but I know we will have a good time. Other predators are always an option to shoot too.
