Blue Jean Ball

The "Endless Summer" theme of the third annual Blue Jean Ball, benefitting Health Works for Northern Virginia, on Oct. 12 had new meaning when it coincided with the National League's Eastern Division playoffs. Thanks to a quick-thinking event planner, the game taking place in Washington was streamed for viewing in the ProJet Aviation Hangar at Leesburg Airport. Healthworks, formerly Loudoun Community Health Center, celebrated its Oct. 1 merger with the Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic of Herndon. OHMF is a proud supporter of the new entity, which supports Loudoun and Fairfax County residents with accessible services for full wellness.
In the photo, Mary Ellen Taylor, co-owner of Endless Summer Harvest in Purcellville, presented a bouquet of banana leaves to honorary Blue Jean Ball Chairmen, Mary and Ed Zigo of Clarke-Hook Real Estate.
