Memorial Day is a time to reflect and thank those who have served, are serving and gave the ultimate sacrifice.

In honor of Memorial Day, the Foundation is proud to announce that registration is now open for the 2015 "Salute For Service" Loudoun County 5k Run/Walk for the Homeless & Disadvantaged.

Visit www. prraces.com and please take a few minutes to reflect on fun we had at last year's event at http://www.voachesapeake.org/3rd-annual-salute-for-service-5k-run.

Remember, the event is held in November in honor of National Hunger and Homeless Month and Veteran’s Day. As you may know, many of our veterans find themselves unable to make a successful transition from military to civilian life and thus, find themselves homeless. In fact, according the Department of Housing and Urban Development, there are 50,000 veterans out on the streets on any given night.

Happy Memorial Day!

In partnership with the Epsilon Zeta Boule Foundation and Stonebridge High School we kicked off the 3rd Annual Salute for Service 5k Run in support of our Loudoun County Homeless Services Center.
