Mark your calendars! The WorldSkills Competition will take place October 12-17, 2022.

The 46th WorldSkills Competition was postponed from this year because of the pandemic, but is now back in the calendar, with China hosting for the first time.

Mark your calendar for 12-17 October 2022!

There’s also good news for those young Competitors who feared they might lose out with the date change because of the upper age limit on participating.

At the recent General Assembly, Members unanimously confirmed that anyone eligible for 2021 can also take part in 2022, as a one-off rule change.

The extra year gives Members a full 20 months to focus on crucial local and national activities, including team selection, training and working on new innovative ways of supporting and developing young talent, even when face to face learning is not possible.
WorldSkills CEO David Hoey said “With WorldSkills Shanghai back on the calendar we can all look forward to coming together in 2022.
