We are 💚thrilled💚 to share our new logo with you all. This new logo comes along with a new look for our clinic as we prepare to begin a $500,000 renovation and expansion of our facilities - all made possible through a grant by the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation.

The renovation project will include updated and additional space and will help us serve not only our existing 1,100 members, but also more of the 16,000+ residents of Loudoun County who potentially qualify for our free services.

This logo visually shows that our clinic is available to everyone in need. It highlights our goal of providing healthcare across a diverse spectrum of people and needs. It also depicts the care and community connection that members experience.

We are very grateful to the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation for this transformational gift! Be sure to follow this account to stay updated on the renovation project and other happenings around the clinic.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and a reminder to monitor your health well. Early detection is key. Take these steps and empower yourself:
Practice routine self-exams
Know your risks and family history
Visit your doctor regularly
Know when to get a mammogram

Even people with no symptoms or risks should have regularly scheduled well visits with their doctor and regular mammograms.

For resources and more information, go to:

Our Story & Mission

The mission of the Loudoun Free Clinic is to provide free, quality medical care at no charge to low-income, uninsured residents of Loudoun County. Loudoun Free Clinic opened in 1999, as part of The Catoctin Foundation. This foundation was established by a group of concerned citizens who realized there was a substantial need for medical care to the uninsured in the community.

The patients of the Clinic are adults (age 18 to 64) with acute and chronic illnesses. They are residents of Loudoun County who are at double the poverty level or below (0 - 200%), and who do not have health insurance. We currently have a patient base of approximately 800, and hope to expand access.

Patient care and administration is provided by both paid and volunteer efforts. We have a staff of 14 employees. Many physicians, nurses and Loudoun neighbors give freely of their time on a volunteer basis to LFC patients.

In addition to the many hours donated by the volunteers, the Clinic relies on the financial support of community partners and private citizens. We are members of the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the National Association of Free Clinics.
