Established in 2013, Feline Fix Foundation is a federal non-profit, 501(c)3 that utilizes the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) method to effectively reduce the Outer Banks Free-Roaming, Community Cat Population. We offer assistance with Trapping, Transport, Low Cost Spay/Neuter Surgery, Vaccinations/ Rabies Prevention, Ear-Tipping, After-Care and Returning. TNR- Trap-Neuter-Return is the Only Humane Method of Population Care and Control. This is Colony Management, not Enablement. Feline Fix Foundation will always encourage caretakers to bring cats back to their original colony, providing that is a safe means and option. Shelter and Food Source areas Need to be occupied by Ear-Tipped Cats. When cohesive, colony cats are removed, we experience what’s referred to as the vacuum effect. New, intact cats occupy the open space. Trap-Neuter-Return should be the Only Means to Maintain Wild Cat Over-Population. Learn, Educate, Be Proactive. SPAY and NEUTER your Pets. Our Island needs you. Our Community Needs You. Most Importantly, these Lives Matter. The Community Cats Need You.
