"A ‘restorer' envisions the world as God meant it to be and then actively works towards mending its brokenness in the name of Jesus." – Gabe Lyons
God saw all that He had made and it was GOOD! Then sin entered the earth and it started to become not as it was intended. Jesus came and gave his life to redeem it and start the process of a new relationship with man and women. Now we join Jesus' mission in restoring creation back to the way it's supposed to be. We are RESTORERS!

We're in a society full of apologizes with very little repentance. Let's change this. Let's get real. Let's burn what we've held onto. And Let's gain freedom. #wearerestorers #ywamkona

1.Cor 12: 17If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. #BodyOfChrist
I knew you started to restore my soul, emotions, and even my body. It was like navigating in a storm. I tried to run away. It was so painful. But you were with me like the sunshine. You gave me hope. Guided me. And warmed me. Although the skies were grey and the ocean was rough, you were still there.

During my Restorers DTS, my team and I spent 3 weeks ministering in Greece and eating a heck of a lot of gyros. You may be wondering why I would choose a photo like this to represent the Restorers DTS, but I promise there is a much deeper meaning behind it.
The Lord clearly spoke to me in Greece and gave me the revelation of how He wanted me to root myself in one place to grow in community. I yearned to have a family to call my own, and I wanted to spend life with people. I wanted to dig in and truly get to know people. I wanted to know their good, their bad, and all of the in-between. Thankfully, Greece taught me that relationships like these are made around the dinner table.
The past few years, I’ve jumped around from one thing to the next trying to figure out the next exciting thing to get involved in. I was scared to stick to one thing because it meant that I would have to invest in people. I would have to let them really know me for me, and I would have to be vulnerable and open. I had never realized how much I needed this. Through many long meals, my Greece team taught me the value of family and the importance of taking time with people you love.
Cheers to gyros, unity, community, and incredible conversations around the family dinner table!

This is a poem about relinquishing control, breaking free from lies I’ve believed, and from generational curses and word curses. It’s what God’s been doing in my life. Restoring me from within.
You’re such a perfectionist,
you’re right, i am
You’re so controlling, just like your grandma,
that’s so true, it must be genetic
You’re a little miss bossy,
i guess that’s just who i am
You’re never gonna change,
yea, this is just who i am
That was 27 years of my life
He met me, He spoke, He gave me truth
You’re none of those things,
You’re my Child,
Yes, you’re my Child.
You’re free to make mistakes,
I can be unashamed of my mistakes
You’re free to release control, trusting others and trusting me,
I’m learning to let go
You’re free to lead in love,
I’m growing in loving leadership
You’re free to surrender,
I’m learning to daily surrender
He met me with his perfect love.
He loves me towards repentance.
He meets me in my brokenness.
He mentors me towards change,
towards right relationships
towards the Cross.

Rewasa is a village in the province of Ra, in Fiji. Usually children from the villages will go to school, get married, start a family, and return to the village, slowly but surely forgetting about the dreams and desires they had growing up. When we went to Rewasa, we wanted to emphasize that this doesn’t have to be a reality for them, and we did whatever we could to do so. Towards the end, we no longer had to say it; children were coming up to us, telling us that they are going to trust God and work hard for their dreams.
We accomplished our main goal, underlining their worth and the importance of that worth to God. It was amazing seeing how simple encouragement and FUN can lead to restoration in the hopes and dreams of these children. -Raquel Kvamsdal
This is Richard, one of the many people we had the opportunity of meeting in Fiji. After running into him several times, we knew that we had to get to know him better. We quickly learned that he was very talented in making bracelets, which he sold at the weekly flea market. Another thing we noticed about Richard was his interest in our faith. We spent a lot of time with him, hanging out and discussing God. He even joined us when we went to pray at a hospital and came to a church gathering. His attitude towards Christians and God changed immensely from when we first met him, and we didn’t do anything extravagant. All we did was spend time with him and listen to him. The restoration happening in Richard’s life became so visible by the end of our trip, and it’s exciting to see what else God has in store for him. Mina Olsen

"After sharing a skit and a word, we asked if anyone would like to accept Jesus as their Savior. Initial hesitation disappeared when everyone was asked to close their eyes so that those who chose to accept Jesus could raise their hands in anonymity. We were pleased to see several hands go up to receive Jesus’ invitation that day". -Paul Kim

"This photo was taken during our meeting in Bangkok, Thailand. During my outreach, it was difficult for me to appreciate the differences in people, especially within my group. However, in the midst of this quiet time, I realized for a brief moment that we are actually ALL different and that God loves and speaks into every single one of these people. At this moment, things seemed more clear". So Han
