Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation Our mission is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. In 1989, five days before Christmas, Sergeant William Delaney Gibbs from the 7th Infantry Division was killed in action during Operation Just Cause in Panama, leaving behind a young wife and an unborn daughter.
(124)

Our Founder and President, David Kim, served with Sergeant Gibbs and was inspired by his sacrifice to establish Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation as a way to help Sgt. Gibb’s daughter and the thousands of children like her.

With the support of, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. My son, entered his 1st year at ASU, without me having how to figure out, How too make up the difference in tuition. This was his dream school to attend. He is such a kind and gentle soul. When we calculated the cost, after the Fry scholarship and Academic scholarship granted by the school. There was still a sizable balance. He said, “I’ll go to school locally and work. When I save up enough. I’ll reapply” I, had receive the Foundation newsletter and took a chance and called. And off he went. Thank you, Thank you, Thank You. Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. For assisting in getting, my son to his dream school with no tuition worries. Below is a photo of me dropping him at the airport, to begin his Sophomore year at ASU Carey Business School.
Four years ago, I posted about the view from my desk. Today, I'm sharing a picture from about an hour ago. I'm graduating right now with a Master's in Educational Leadership. The view just keeps getting more and more amazing. Your support during my undergrad degree changed my life, the lives of all the students I have worked with and all the students I will work with in the future. Thank you.
