Our namesake, Madison Prince has created this art piece, finding the humor in social distancing!

We ask that you take a moment to enjoy this artwork with us, as our namesake, Madison Prince, has created this to represent what's happening in the world today by addressing social distancing. When the world you once knew seems to be rapidly changing, it's sometimes good to find the humor in it. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do!

You can find out more about the artist by reading below:

As far back as anyone can recall, Madison has carried an art pad wherever he went. Many of his early sketches laid a foundation for giving the world a glimpse of his thinking and his development as a person and an artist. Art has been his primary means of communicating the world in which he lives to the world in which others live. His art has gone through many phases of style and media as he has been encouraged to create what he felt, rather than what someone wanted him to draw or paint. As a result, his use of color, space, and subject matter gives us a fascinating glimpse into his reality.

Madison will often use classical works of art as a starting point for his own creations. His in interpretations of those works are, themselves, classics. Sometimes his imagination and sense of humor comes forward. Madison has been featured in many art shows, and his commissioned works of art include a display at UCLA School of Dentistry, arts shows at Utah Valley University, Johns Hopkins University, the Universities of Shady Grove and recently at the Watershed Café. He has been the featured artist in the 2018 and 2019 Autism After 21 Art Shows.

Madison is the inspiration for the formation of Madison House Autism Foundation that is creating brighter futures for adults on the autism spectrum. #AutismAfter21

Tool Kit to Create Autism After 21 Day in Your Community - Autism Housing Network

The U.S. Congress has declared April 21st as national Autism After 21 Day for the last 5 years through the advocacy efforts of MHAF. This proclamation acknowledges that adults with autism live in our communities and they deserve to be fully included in our society.

We would like to thank our Montgomery County Government for recognizing April 21st as Autism After 21 Day!

We invite you to reach out to your local city and county leaders with the help of the MHAF Proclamation Toolkit and join this action oriented movement to open doors of opportunity for adults with autism. #AutismAfter21

Each year over 100,000 children with autism become adults with autism. That is 400,000 people in the next four years turning 21–the age at which federally mandated services stop. They will join the millions of adults with disabilities who face decades-long wait lists for residential services and l...

Hello world!! We're back again, and it's our time to shine! What a year we've had, we got to meet so many new friends this year from our yoga class, to Warrior Canine Connection, Hood College, and lastly Children's National in DC!!! I would definitely say we belong on the NICE list!! This year for Christmas we are asking for all the things that keep us clean!

When we visit our friends in the hospital we have to be sparkly clean, so we need all the shampoo we can get! We would also really love a new blanket rack for all our gear! We get clipped in the winter time so we need a place to store our clothes!

Our Story

Madison Fields is a local project of Madison House Autism Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life led by adults with autism across the country. This beautiful 400-acre farm in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve in Maryland serves as a place of healing, inclusion and growth for those members of our community who don’t often receive the support needed in order to fully participate and contribute. We work with community partners, businesses, and the general public to include, learn from, and work alongside individuals with various levels of ability, including adults with autism, physical disabilities, and wounded veterans. We believe our communitiy is stronger when we are all growing together. We currently offer Equine-Assisted Therapy and Activities, Agricultural Education for students from nearby schools, Job Readiness training for adults with developmental and intellectual challenges, and lots of opportunities for volunteers. We also host community events and gatherings in our historic farm buildings.

Whatever group is leaving your location right now , please talk to them about driving respectfully down Mouth of Monocacy Road. Numerous people have driven at a high speed where dogs and small children were playing in their front yard, which happens to have the road running through it. The lack of concern by the drivers is appalling and dangerous.
