I do NOT support this. It makes no sense in many areas to shift trash pick-up to front curbs. We will have to make some changes to bulk and brush pick-up and there are areas where alleys are so bad or it is more efficient to have curbside pick up, but not everywhere. I can’t imagine our neighborhood streets lined with garbage, the difficulty for many of our seniors trying to move garbage cans to front curbs, or the difficulty navigating around parked cars. I am sure there are some changes I will support for efficiencies, but I will not support a city-wide end to alley trash collection.

Hi!! Has there been any talk of the neighborhood association setting up something for the kids in the neighborhood for Halloween this year in lieu of trick or treating? I personally am fine with trick or treating moving forward as normal, but with the CDC recommendations coming out yesterday discouraging that, I fear I will be in the minority. So, before I try to organize something on our Street, I thought I’d check here to see if this group was working on anything. The CDC has some good ideas that could be implemented in a neighborhood setting or though block parties — one-way trick or treating, outdoor costume parade, outdoor movie . Thanks!!
