3 years of research into post traumatic stress and of working with veterans to eliminate the symptoms has revealed something every person suffering from PTS(D?) should know. The post traumatic stress response is NOT a disorder. Quite the contrary. It's actually the result of a very strategically effective brain doing an exceptionally good job.

The reason the response continues beyond the traumatic event is because the subconscious mind functions only in the present moment - in the here and now. And once a successful strategy is created, that strategy continues to be used until a better strategy is introduced.

The method I use to eliminate post traumatic stress symptoms introduces a better strategy in less than an hour. The result is immediate. When a highly strategic brain shifts its focus from survival to success, the individual becomes just as effective at creating success as he or she was at ensuring survival. Want to know more? Just ask.

To date 34 veterans have participated in our PTS Free study. All reported successful outcomes (meaning that post traumatic stress symptoms were either completely eliminated or are so minimal as to be very easily managed). The results, as expected, appear to be lasting. Two years after the first 7 veterans participated in the study, they report that they are still PTS Free.

Welcome to Foundation for Positive Change

The results of an ongoing study of #veterans with #posttraumaticstress is revealing some amazing data; data that make the appalling rate of 22 suicides a day even more distressing. You see, those who get post traumatic stress are NOT mentally ill. They are NOT less capable than those who don't get it. In fact, all indications are that they are highly capable; perhaps more capable than the average person.

Research conducted by Dr Sherry Buffington and sponsored by Wayland Baptist University strongly suggests that those who get post traumatic stress are intelligent, empathetic and have highly strategic brain function. It is their intelligence and highly strategic brain that helps them survive dangerous and traumatic situations. That, combined with their capacity to care is what leads to the symptoms that have been mistakenly labeled a "disorder." The reality is #PTSD is NOT a disorder, but a highly effective strategy and when the strategy is redirected from a #defense strategy to a #success strategy, the results are phenomenal.

The individual whose life was once derailed by the continued defense responses becomes highly effective at creating successful outcomes. We need to change the false perception that #PTSD is a "disorder" and tell it like it is.

Let's turn the "D" in #PTSD into "Defense strategy" and tell #veterans, #firefighters, #policeofficers,#firstresponders and all the others who are needlessly suffering that their symptoms are actually indications of a superior mental function that, when updated and realigned, provides strategies for success that are just as effective as the strategies for defense and survival were.

Happy Fourth Of July!
To my fellow entrepreneurs who stay up late, get up early, fight, hustle, and sweat to build businesses ...often in the face of adversity, often in the face of defeat and repeated failure, often in the face of criticism and scorn from peers and family ...never giving up but still working day in and day out to turn your vision into brilliant reality: THANK YOU.
It is YOU who creates money.
It is YOU who creates jobs.
It is YOU who pays the taxes.
It is YOU who supports it ALL.
If it weren't for YOU, we'd have nothing to celebrate.
I'd also like to thank the underpaid, undervalued, and under-appreciated men and women of the US Military who place themselves in danger every day in service to this country.
If it weren't for you, the enemies of free trade would have destroyed us generations ago.
Your sacrifice can never truly be understood by the general population, but it certainly is appreciated.

I would like to thank Frank Fern for the above Post. As an entrepreneur who has experienced both the trials and triumphs of entrepreneurship, I deeply appreciate the sacrifices entrepreneurs make. However, I would like to expand the sentiment to include all great parents, who fit this model as well. Only, in their case, their sacrifices and struggles are to ensure that the next generation carries forth the great legacy of conscious, caring Americans. To all entrepreneurs, parents, military men and women and veterans, THANK YOU! May the spirit of America continue to shine through you.

We hope everyone has a happy 4th of July, and that all who seek freedom and independence find it!

Banish Blocks and Barriers

Do you like things that fly in the face of traditional "wisdom" and show that some commonly accepted ideas are not all that wise? Then, ponder this.

The research I have done on post traumatic stress suggests that not only is it NOT a "disorder," it is actually an effect produced by a mind that has exceptionally effective survival strategies; strategies that keep the individual alive and functioning in horrific conditions. Where a less effective person might shut down (and possibly die as a result), those with these highly developed survival strategies work through it. The reason there is a problem once the traumatic situation is past is because the subconscious mind doesn't update files (subconscious programs) without a catalyst to cause the update. Trauma is certainly a catalyst, but ordinary, everyday life is not. So the files that got created to manage the traumatic event continue to run and, what was a very appropriate response in the midst of the trauma, continues to occur.

What's amazing and wonderful is that, once these files are updated to align with the individual's current circumstances (which is what we do with the RAMP method) those very same highly evolved survival strategies become highly effective success strategies.

People with post traumatic stress are NOT broken and they are certainly not mentally ill. What they ARE is strategically superior!

If you have post traumatic stress, know that you have a brilliant mind that is ready, wiling and able to help you be highly successful in any situation.

If you know someone with PTSD (I consider the "D" to be "Defense strategy"), please forward this to them. Those old files can be updated quickly and easily so they are as successful at moving through life as they were at surviving the traumatic event.

PTSD hits civilians serving on war fronts, study finds

According to an article published in December it's not just our military men and women that are dealing with #PTSD and it's debilitating effects. It seems that civilian contractors are also returning home with this debilitating weight on their shoulders in shockingly similar numbers to our troops.

We at The Foundation for Positive Change know that you don't need to carry a gun to serve your country, and we want our services to help all of those afflicted by PTSD to become #PTSfree

Case Study - Daniel
Daniel is a veteran of the Iraq war. He was a member of a special ops unit that saw a lot of horror during multiple deployments. He had been home for nine years and in all that time his life had been severely derailed by anxiety. He was haunted by nightmares and didn’t sleep well. During the day sights, sounds and smells regularly set off anxiety attacks that at times caused his airways to become constricted such that he couldn’t breathe. He stayed to himself a lot and regularly had to talk himself down when he had to go someplace.
In June, 2013 Daniel volunteered to be part of our study on combat related PTSD. In little more than an hour the symptoms that had for years skyrocketed his stress levels into the range of 8 to 10 on a stress occurrence scale (where 10 is unbearable) were nowhere to be found. He reported his stress levels at zero at the end of a single session and he could not call up any trace of anxiety. Checking back with him at 30, 60 and 90 day intervals found him still post traumatic stress free. Today Daniel reports he feels confident and capable and is full of compassion for others who are blocked as he once was. He reports that he is now living life to the fullest and is reaching out to other veterans to help them become PTS Free as well.

According to http://www.ptsd.ne.gov/ "About 3.6 percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 54 (5.2 million people) have PTSD during the course of a given year."

Here at the Foundation for Positive Change we are working to help ease the suffering of this massive amount of American citizens. It is our hope that through the completion of our study we can validate the potential of our revolutionary treatment method so that it can be used nation wide to create a country free of the crippling long term effects of #PTSD.

General information

They fought for our freedom, let's help them regain theirs. We are conducting a study to prove that PTSD is not a "disorder" or mental illness, but a natural defense mechanism which can be easily eliminated when old subconscious programs are effectively updated. The stigma surrounding PTSD and the word on the street that it is not "curable" often prevents veterans and military personnel from seeking treatment, and those who do seek treatment are often subjected to methods that simply address the symptoms rather than treating the source cause. The study is designed to prove the efficacy of a method called Rapidly Accelerated Mind Patterning (RAMP) and to date its success rate in eliminating the symptoms of PTSD have been better than 97%. Better still, the symptoms are often gone in as little as an hour and never return. Current treatment for PTSD costs $8,300 on average. Research so far suggests that we can get veterans and soldiers PTS Free for about 10% of that amount. Our goal is to treat 120 veterans through our Phase 1 study and then in Phase 2 is to provide a Pay It Forward Scholarship to train practitioners so tens of thousands of veterans and soldiers can be post traumatic stress FREE. Your donation helps us provide free RAMP treatment to the 120 veterans in Phase 1 who, in the course of serving their country, experienced catastrophic trauma that derailed their life.
