This is the Refugee Olympic Team.

Unlike every other team at the Olympic games, they do not share a country or even a language. Instead, for the second time in Olympic history, these 29 athletes from 11 countries are competing on behalf of the 82 million refugees and displaced people worldwide.

This team defies all borders, and it’s members have overcome extreme adversity to fulfill their dreams. Together they represent that whoever we are and wherever we’re from, we deserve to be safe and reach for our goals. We are behind you Refugee Olympic Team 💪🤍

Happy Holidays to all !
My retirement as President of the chamber gave me an opportunity to volunteer and help the foundation arm of the chamber – the MEED Center. MEED Center is the Chamber’s 501 (c)(3) charitable foundation through which its members and partners (individuals and corporations) have the opportunity to exercise their social responsibility by giving their tax-deductible donations or contributions for the support of programs that assist low-to-moderate income individuals and families (job seekers, unemployed, and start-up business. I am reaching out to you and your noted generosity to direct your charity donations to MEED Center. And kindly extend this request to your friends, colleagues or clients who are looking for recipients of their tax-deductible donations. See attached info brochure. Sincerely Yours, Galileo Jumaoas Interim Executive Director
