Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS (LSRFA) exists to raise funds for North Texans living with HIV/AIDS while at the same time raising awareness of this disease.

Founded in 2001, LSRFA is a grassroots, volunteer driven 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that produces a number of fundraising and awareness raising events throughout the year. Commemorating it's 13th anniversary in 2013, LSRFA ends the year with our signature event; a cycling adventure through scenic suburban and country roads winding through and around Dallas/Fort Worth on September 28, 2013.

ATTENTION Lone Star Ride Friends - SAVE THE DATE: SEPT 27
In the efforts to help raise funds for the construction of the memorial garden in honor of Jackie Jones, we are putting a ride together that will leave from The Revlon Courtyard down to White Rock Lake (T&P Hill) and back after a pit to honor Jackie at the lake. Once we return we will have all gather, Riders and non-Riders.

Rain has held off most of today! Woo Hoo! Due to the storm coming through, Closing Ceremonies will be held during Wrap on October 20th (more details to come). HH at Gilley's in the Jack Daniels Saloon is still ON today from 4:30-6:30, with special guest singer David Cotes. CHEERS to a GREAT RIDE DAY!!!

The mission of AIDS Services of Dallas is to create and strengthen healthy communities through the delivery of quality, affordable, service-enriched housing for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS who are economically disadvantaged and to coordinate a broad range of direct services and programs, including advocacy and education.

RESOURCE CENTER DALLAS
The Resource Center's purpose is to maintain the best possible life for people with AIDS and HIV infection by providing them with vital services; to reduce the spread of HIV infection by providing risk-reduction education; to reduce fear and discrimination directed towards people with HIV and AIDS; and to ensure support for its activities by coordination and collaboration with other agencies.

Mona (Mo) Leach died on Sunday of complications from surgery. Michael Brantley has provided the following information: A memorial service for Mona will be held Wednesday, September 19th, at 6:30pm in White Rock Community Church Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the White Rock Community Church fund for Connor Elementary School Girl Scouts. Donations may be brought to the church service or mailed to WRCC at P.O. Box 180508, Dallas, TX 75228.
