Yearbooks are Almost Here!

Hello CHS Families,

The yearbooks are coming soon!

IF YOU ALREADY ORDERED A YEARBOOK ONLINE:
β€’ SENIOR ONLY PICKUP IS TUESDAY, MAY 18th from 1pm - 3:30pm
β€’ OTHER GRADES PICKUP IS WEDNESDAY, MAY 19th from 3pm - 5pm (that already ordered a book online)

β€’ If you still NEED to purchase a yearbook, they will be available on FRIDAY, MAY 21st from 3pm - 5pm, CASH ONLY ($80) and first come, first served.
β€’ People who missed the first pickup days may also come at this time to pickup a preordered book.

Pickup will be in front of the school. Please wear a mask and have student's photo ID.

The yearbook students have worked incredibly hard to create a book that showcases what happened this year, even though we weren't physically at school. They had to learn how to get interviews, photos, and survey responses in creative ways; getting teenagers to respond to emails and survey is a challenge! They persisted throughout this difficult year and made a book that is one of a kind! I am incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication and hope your student enjoys the 2021 CHS Yearbook!

Be safe & stay well,
Ms. Dell
Yearbook Adviser

Graduation Ceremony Details
Again, we are very excited to be able to have our 2021 Graduation Ceremony at the Concord Pavilion. Here is the most up to date information!
Date: May, 29
Time: 5:00 pm
Graduation Practice: May 29 @ 9:00 am - All must wear masks!
Parking lot opens: 3:30 pm
Gates open: 4:00 pm
Grads MUST be backstage by 4:00 pm
Tickets:
Ticketmaster - access coming soon!
Originally, the Pavilion thought they would be able to release more tickets than they were able to. Unfortunately, due to the constraints of the CDPH and the need to use some seating for the graduates, there are ticketing restrictions. All graduates will be able to reserve up to 4 seats.
Once we have determined that all graduates have secured a pod, we will work with the Pavilion to release a second round of pods for families to reserve. We realize that this will be difficult and that families will have to make tough choices about who will attend the ceremony. We are also working with Concord TV to live stream the event so those who are not able to attend can still watch.

Still need your cap and gown?
If you missed cap and gown pick up, stop in the main office anytime between 8 and 3 during the week. If you needed something extra or have a question about your cap and gown, please reach out to Jostens!
Stay tuned for a link to reserve tickets!

Dear Concord H.S. Parents & Seniors,

It has come to our attentions that the graduation announcements you received last Friday have an error. One of the lines says β€œof” instead of β€œor”. We are correcting the graduation announcement and we are now adding the time and location of the ceremony to the graduation announcement. We will deliver the new graduation announcements to the seniors when they pick up their cap and gown. That delivery date is tentatively set for Tuesday, May 4. This date has not yet been confirmed, but the school will announce the delivery day very soon.

You do not need to return the announcements you have received and we will simply put the new, corrected announcements with your cap and gown on delivery day.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

Sincerely,
Martin Oliveira/Jostens
