Personal Forgiveness - Level 1 Step 1 Identify the Sin and the Person(s) Responsible for It

If we want to receive God's forgiveness, forgive another person, or ask another person to forgive us, we need to first identify the sin and the person or persons responsible for it. In this video we will look at how to identify sins so we can practice Personal Forgiveness, the forgiveness of the divine penalty for sins.

What Forgiveness Is

Let's take a quick look at what real forgiveness is so we can be pointed in the right direction and lay a foundation for an effective practice of forgiveness.

Becky is home from surgery. It went very well. She is in pain, taking her meds and resting in bed.

It looks like Spencer and Nichole and the kids are moving in with us this Saturday. Thank you for praying for a smooth transition.

If you gave to Forgiveness Ministries in 2020, your tax information should arrive by next week. I am putting them in the mail today.

01/10/2021

It is a rough year.

I just found out this week that I have diabetes. My father got it when he was 70. My younger brother got it when he was 56. I am 62. I've started medication already and have changed my diet severely. We shall see how it goes.

I am eager to experience Jesus in this new situation, and to demonstrate by His grace and power what Jesus looks like with diabetes. Thank you for your prayers.

Becky is still recovering from chemo therapy. It is much slow than we expected. She has reconstruction surgery on the 18th.

Nichole and Spencer, with three little children must move out of their home by the 25th. We are looking at mobile homes (the only thing they can afford in this area). We say one today that would be perfect, but several other people are putting offers on it as well. They will be moving in with us till they have a place of their own.

Again, thank you for all your prayers and encouragement.

A prayer request heavy on my heart our daughter and sweet family- any ideas?

Our daughter, Nichole, and her husband, Spencer, (the one in the wheelchair I talk about in our forgiveness seminars) have just been given a 60 day notice that they must move. The owner of the house they rent is going to sell the house. Nichole and Spencer cannot afford to purchase the house, so they are now scrambling to find a new place to live.

It must be near Spencer's parents and us, and friends, (that would be Concord) as they need so much help with Spencer's condition. They are looking at mobil homes, townhomes, houses, etc. anything they can afford for a family of five, and a wheelchair. Even renting is out of their range. We need a miracle!

Please join with us in prayer and keep your eyes and ears open. We do not know where God's answer is going to come from, or even what it is.

A few things... thank you fur sharing things of the heart ...

Hi everyone.

We are near the end of the first week of the third cycle of chemotherapy, and it has definitely been the most difficult for Becky, as they said would be the case. She is in pain, nauseous, headaches, bone pain, jittery, exhausted and more. She sometimes cries and wonders if she can finish this. It is not this way all the time. She does have hours of energy and relative comfort.

Thank you for your prayers, love and support! God is faithful to supply what she needs and we will get through this. He is always good and is showing us His loving care.

Good morning 🌻 wanted to give you an update- it’s been just over 2 weeks since my first chemo. And I will start my 2nd round this Friday Sept. 25th 👍🏼
Gods Grace and love is new every morning - so grateful for each day ☀️

It’s been a ride of symptoms. I’m so very thankful for the prayers, sweet gift of care and food and resources carrying us thru!! Thank you Jesus 🌸🎶

The climax for nausea and most pain ( my back and legs mostly) seems to have been on days 4-8. After that I seem to gain energy and feel like I’m in more of a recovery mode.👏🏼 ( we can do this ) now Other smaller symptoms take its place like- weird Sores random all over my body. I went to both oncologist and dermatologist yesterday and they say a result of chemo and may get worse from next round ( killing fast growing cells -cancer /precancer ) prayers please Not much I can do except Steroid cream. -and I still have the sores in my mouth (I rinse 4x + a day )
But as of Today I still have my hair! This week is beginning of the time they say it starts shedding... I renounce that -Lol .😂👍🏼

I am trying to keep to routine and exercise a bit to get my strength and energy back and get up like a regular day/ until I need to lay down 😴
Thank you for your love it is my salve and song about me
Hugs with a grateful heart 💕

Meal Train for Becky Diehl

Hi everyone,
If you have not yet heard, Becky is going to start chemotherapy this Friday. She will go though four cycles over 15 weeks. As with most people we expect serious side effects. So our daughter Emily is starting up the Meal Train again. If you would like to help us over the next few months, click below. Thank you very, very much!

https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/04e9lz

Becky Diehl is with Emily Elizabeth Downey and Steve Diehl.

Hi all, this is Becky's daughter, Emily. It has been an overwhelming couple of days as we finally received test results that determine chemo therapy as the next step in treatment. Because of this, I am going to be resuming more full time responsibility in posting updates and she will be taking a break from her social media. If there is little or no response from her (text, e-mail, calls, etc.), please extend grace and know she is so grateful for you and your prayers. This is a confusing and emotionally draining time as she heads into another phase of treatment. Keep a look out for an updated Meal Train and donation goal to help with the new health bills.
Below is a message from Becky:

Hi 🦋 Thank you for your prayers, waiting with me for cancer test results after my Mastectomy. They finally came back and 2 dr visits later we have a plan.
Unfortunately my oncotype test numbers revealed a higher percentage of this particular cancer returning. 😩 My dr.s were also -a bit surprised, they rechecked pathology and just to cover all bases they are having the top John Muir oncology board review my case next Wednesday. But in the mean time Chemo is set up to start next Friday September 4t. We will have 4 rounds, ( 3 weeks apart) emotionally this has been the hardest piece for me in this journey, and I’m sure physically on my body directly🙏🏼
So with much grieving over the reality of chemo as the solution, and lots of prayers and full faith in Jesus we do move forward ~ Faithfully knowing He has so much good for me to experience. I am wrapped in His divine peace and His loving healing hand I feel is upon me.
Thank you again for ministering to us in our need! ❤️

Hello everyone. Great news, Becky's lymph nodes do not have cancer!
We are now waiting on two more tests to help determine final post-op therapy. It will be about two weeks before the results come in.
Becky is still resting and recovering from the surgery two weeks ago.
Thank you for your love, support and prayers.
Steve

07/13/2020

Becky and I are both amazed and overwhelmed by all of you, and all of your love and support. It brings us to tears. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Becky continues to heal and recover from surgery, still spending a lot of her time sleeping, but starting to walk around the house freely. She tires quickly. Everything seems to be going according to what is expected. She has a doctor's appointment on Thursday to remove the drain tube in her side. She is still please with how the surgery went and its results. We are waiting to hear from the lab this week as to whether or not the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. That is big, and will determine what kind of post surgery follow-up she will need. We love and appreciate you all!
Steve

07/10/2020

It is Friday morning. I brought Becky home last evening.

The surgery went very well. Pathology tests results next week will tell us if the cancer had spread.

Becky is pleased with the surgery.

She got several good hours of sleep last night, under strong pain killers. She is still in a lot of pain. She ate a fruit breakfast this morning and is back in bed.

She is still too "out-of-it" to receive calls or to respond to texts. I'll keep you updated.

Thank you for all your love, prayers and support!

General information

Everyone has been wounded and damaged by their own sins and the sins of other people against them. Practicing all three paths of biblical forgiveness (receiving it from God, forgiving others and asking others to forgive us) is how God heal the human soul and restores broken relationships. However, practicing real forgiveness is not natural to any human being. We must learn it from God. Unfortunately there are many false models of forgiveness in the world and the Church today. Forgiveness Ministries seeks to offer a more accurate and effective description of biblical forgiveness and how to practice it. Forgiveness Ministries does this through seminars, workshops, books, CDs, resource recommendations, counseling, leadership development and consultation, radio and the internet.

It took while to have “Forgiveness seminar” in CTF. Finally this spring, we could have the seminar at all three chapels on different days. Rev. Steve Diehl came twice in March and April and led the seminar at the North. This “Forgiveness Seminar” was one-day, six-hour seminar conducted by Rev. Steve Diehl. Forgiveness is particularly important in light of the fact that underlying most crime is pain, bitterness, and judgment we hold against ourselves and others due to unforgiveness. Practicing forgiveness is essential for repentance, emotional healing, restoring broken relationships and having peace with God and others. A lot of men attended to the end for whole day seminar: Central: 84 men, South: 76 men, North: 139 men. Altogether 299 men. Thank you, Rev. Diehl.

Hello I'm interested to join the FB Live group for Developing a Lifestyle of Forgiveness. Pls. send me the link. I'm super excited and looking forward to it.
hi! when will the book be available in stores like kinokuniya?
Forgiveness is not something you do out of some misguided shame based behavior.......it is a faith based deliberate action you choose to be willing to take with Gods help because God calls you too.....in order that He can continue to bless you and your life. Thank you for this forgiveness ministry!! I pray blessings abound in this act of obedience to what God has called you to do! I look forward to viewing and participating in the good work you are starting!! 😃
Are you a wife and have a desire to turn your worry into war? Then join Wives Who War! Who are we? A place where Christian Married WIVES from everywhere who believe in the POWER of prayer join together to support and pray for our husbands and the husbands of others. God has called us to be our husband’s helper (Genesis 2:18). Our role is to aid and assist our husbands regularly. We are a strong defender for our husband and a warrior for our husband in the physical and spiritual battles of life. We are here to create an atmosphere where we becomes wives who know how to go into battle for our husbands, not against them! For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). One of the noblest things we as wives can do is to make intercession for our husbands at the throne of God. Praying for your husband can support, encourage and strengthen him. The power of prayer can change your life and your relationship with your husband! As you pray and intercede for your husband, you open the door for God’s power to work in his life (James 5:16; 1 John 5:14-15). No matter who you are praying for, never be moved by what you see. Walk by faith and not by sight. The Word of God will always work! We are currently walking through "Developing a Lifestyle of Forgiveness" and it is definitely a journey with taking. Steve and Becky - Thank you so much!
