NEW MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:

Greeting,

I am excited to become one of the members of Chicago 300 Black Women. I’m honored to be a part of such an astonishing organization.

I attended William Carey University where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. I later retuned pursing my interest in a Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Child Adolescence, which I’ve obtained May of 2019.

I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring many younger teens throughout my line of work such as becoming a Psychology Instructor, Canopy Children’s Solution formerly known as Mississippi Children Home Service, South Central Community Action Agency, Enhanced Destiny Solutions, Washington Parish Behavioral Health, and School Based HealthCare Solutions, INC, where I am currently the Mental Health Therapist. Moreover, I’ve supervised and coordinate different aspects of operations such as developing and implementing tasks, coordinating intakes, referrals, initial screens, pre-certification, admissions, cases, budging, and more. I am also the co-owner of “Talk it Over Podcast with Angel and Nikki.” And the co-owner of “Heavenly Hands Home & Respite Care, LLC. While attending William Carey University, I had the privileged to serve as one of the members of The African American Culture Society Plus Organization. Within this organizations, I was given the opportunity to support and coordinate fundraisers for the March of Dimes, Breast Cancer Awareness, and The Children’s Miracle Network. I have participated in the American Heart Association Heart Walk, Salvation Army, and Relay of Life.

I believe in hard work with the experience to get things done efficiently. It is my desire to be a positive influence in the lives of others. Not only will I contribute to the goals and mission of this position, I will work hard to uphold the reputation and the standards that have been set before me. Thank you for taking out the time to consider myself as a candidate. I am excited to make memories and learned for you all.

Sincerely,
Shanequa Bridges
