What's up Warrior's, Supporters and Caregivers?

On September 20,2021 we will conduct our first Challenge in which you can win some money. What we are trying to do is to help get people healthy, we are having a weight loss challenge. We are doing a percentage of weight loss, so it's fair for all involved.

We are inviting everyone to sign up. Whether you need a Transplant or not. Let's all get Healthy.

Our good friend, Ryan O'Connor, Founder of ROC Stop Seizures, is a Nutritionist and Physical Trainer, who is willing to help as well. We are hoping that we can get people that are on Dialysis, anyone that needs to lose weight in order to get on the Transplant List, or anyone who just wants to get healthy. Lets face it, we've all gained a few pounds these past 2 years!

We will need a few things from the people that want to get involved in the Challenge. You can submit these through this link. https://forms.gle/2gUPkSBEN64p6Y4S9. All information will be held confidential.

1. Dr.'s clearance letter sent to us.
2. Proof of current weight, can be from your doctor as well.
3. A before picture to show off your results!

The Challenge will start on 9/20/21 & go to 12/14/21. Shortly after we will announce the winners. There is $500.00 in the pot.

1st place $250.00

2nd place $150.00

3rd place $100.00

This is a win/win... get healthy and get some extra cash in your pockets.

So message us or email ([email protected]) if you are interested and please share this. We are also here to help you through every step of this process, you can reach out anytime and we will put you on the right path.

If you would like to donate, please go to https://transplantwarriors247.com We are a 501c3 Foundation, any amount donated is tax deductible.

Once again thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully sharing!

What's up Warrior's? Hope you all are having a Great Day.
I want to remind all of you that be careful about which Deodorants you use because some can cause Renal Failure.
Dont forget to read the back to make sure or Google it.

This is for all the Warrior's that are still on Dialysis.
If your feeling drained after every Treatment and just want to stay in bed, then this message is for you.
Start walking every day even on Dialysis days not saying walk miles right off the bat but start slow and work up to a mile.
Find a really good Renal Diet and watch your fluids don't forget to take your Binders.
I guarentee that if you take the time to get in shape Dialysis will not beat you up anymore.
You would have more energy and feel really good.
It's going to be hard and your going to not want to do it but I can tell you once you set your mind to it and get it done the results are amazing.
To really feel a difference it will take roughly about 30 days to feel the change.

Me personally I had to lose 70lbs to get on the list, what I did was found a really good Renal Diet and watched my fluid intake and what I did to accomplish my goal on getting on the list was I walked every day ( The more you sweat the more fluids you can have) I went to Dialysis Mon ,Wed. And Friday's so on Monday's I wouldnt Challenge myself on Dialysis wanted to make sure the fluid from the weekend came off but Wednesday's and Friday's I would challenge myself on the Machine I would always try to Challenge myself 5 kilos on the Machine even if I only put on 2 to 3 kilos.
My dry weight changed every week once I got on the program.
I was on Dialysis for 7yrs, My first 2 yrs I was Non Compliant wouldnt goto Dialysis signed off all the time No Transplant Center would Transplant me all refused to Help until I started to help Myself and take Responsibility for my own actions.
So learn from my mistakes and let me help you get where you want to be.
Either Transplanted or being able to Live on Dialysis for the rest of your Life without feeling beat up.
In 2. 5 yrs I've gotten 38 people Transplanted and over 300 people on the list just by walking, eating healthy with a good Renal Diet and taking your Binders.
This is more of a Mental thing then Physical but if I can do it Anyone Can.

A great song for these times.
I can tell you that my diseases didn't discriminate against me. (Cancer, Heart Disease & Kidney disease)
Just because we all don't see eye to eye, we shouldn't hate each other!
It's called a difference of opinion.

What's up Warrior's? I'm reaching out today because I've been reading a lot of dialysis patients wanting to quit Dialysis and die.

I truly don't understand why? I spent 7yrs. on Dialysis, was it hard? Absolutely! But if you do some simple things Dialysis will not beat you up so bad.

First thing is you have to get in shape, it will not happen overnight! Start off slow, just walk to the end of your driveway and back. Do this twice a day for 2 weeks, then everyday take it a little further, just another 5 to 10 steps more each day.

Take your Binders! This is really important! Also try to find a good Renal Diet that works best for you. After a month of doing these simple things you will have more energy throughout the day, I promise!

Learn your machine! Know what every alarm means when it goes off. I used to run my own Machine. Remember your paying for a service so if you don't like the Tech/Nurse you have that day, you have a right to change them. You might have to wait a little longer to get on but having peace of mind is priceless.

One other thing I want to mention to you is remember this a business deal. Dialysis Centers provides a service to clean your blood so you can live. You are your own advocate to get on that list as fast as you can! Seek out transplant hospitals, but also remember your shouldn't tie yourself to just one! Get listed with multiple hospitals. As long as they are 50 miles apart, you will be in different geographical areas and have a better chance at getting a Transplant.

So if you need help getting through the process of Transplant hospitals, or you need help losing the weight to get on the list, please reach out to us. We will be more then happy to walk your journey with you and get you Transplanted.

Someone will get back to you within 24 hours of your message to us. We are doing this to Honor our Donors and because we enjoy helping others.

Our Story

Welcome to our page! We have both received the life-changing gift of a Transplant. We wanted to briefly tell you our stories and why we have started this Foundation. Our goal is to assist people in their journey to get healthy and on the transplant list. We have traveled their path and we know their struggle.

We are doing all of this to honor our donors. This originally began because Joe wanted to raise money for college for his donors' children. It quickly turned into a larger opportunity to help countless others and help them in their journey. Joe is currently the Volunteer Patient Advocate for Kidney Transplant patients at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Together, our goal with Transplant Warriors 24/7, is to help all patients reach their goals and get listed for what they need in order to survive.

Feel free to contact us at any time. If you are the recipient, a donor, or a supporter. You are all important in this process.

Joe Bueno's Story Founder/President My Journey started back in 2003 when I went to the doctor for back pain. They discovered I had Kidney Cancer and had to do 13 months of Chemotherapy (Cyclephosimite). It was the darkest time of my life, but I overcame Cancer and survived the chemo.

I'm new to the group. I had a kidney transplant in 1987 at the age of 7 and it lasted 32 years! Amazing I know 😀 now I'm waiting for my 2nd transplant!! I went into renal failure last feb (2019) went right on Dialysis for the very 1st time in my life. It wasnt fun as most of you know. So I was on hemo Dialysis from Feb 2019 until the end of 2019 then switched over to pd Dialysis. It's still Dialysis but it's way better than going to the center and sitting there for 3 and a half hours! So if you are willing to help a 40 year old entertainer and father of an 11 year old son and a future fiance that does everything for me, please help me out. I'm o blood type. Hope to hear from some of you really soon!! PS BE A WARRIOR NEVER GIVE UP!!
It's my dream for my husband to find a kidney donor blood type O. He's been on a list since 2016.
Hello Maureen and Joseph!
