Did you know that Friday, September 17, 2021, is the library's 47th Anniversary?
Here's some quick trivia to see how well you know your library:
Do you know how many buildings the library occupied before the beautiful current building?
Do you know how many Library Directors held that position throughout the 47 years?
Do you know what special feature WPCL has that no other library in Monroe County has?
Send us your answers in the comments, Correct answers will be revealed tomorrow.

Why not stop by the library and show the staff some love on the 47th Anniversary! (hours of operation are 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm)

So, I went on this Valentine Blind Date. WPCL "set" us up. (Don't tell my husband!) We shared a cold winter afternoon sipping my favorite beverage (Coca Cola), nibbling on chocolate bon bons with candlelight. Introductions were made. Opening line was..."Are you lost?" the man asked. And I wanted more. So author Lisa Lutz gave me more in her book, "How to Start a Fire." Thank you WPCL for hooking me up with your cool book "Blind Date" promotion! Clever and fun idea!!!
I have been going to the WPCL my whole life, and so have my children. So happy to see one of my best friends there now. :)
Found this at a rest area. I'm a trucker. So this will probably end up in Indiana tomorrow πŸ˜‚πŸ˜Ž

Please add to your shelves Whole Food Plant Based authors. A great recent book would be "Chris Beat Cancer" by Chris Walk. Other authors of value are Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. Michael Gregor. Also the "China Study". Documentary Forks Over Knives is a great work of history.
Just a friendly reminder and invitation to come out in support of the Arts tomorrow evening in downtown Stroudsburg! These two women are literally putting their hearts and souls into this show and I am excited for you to see what they have created. Please join us for an intimate evening of art, music, conversation and purpose.
