The Gower Cemetery to otherwise assume responsibility for the restoration and maintenance of a historic burial site. "Historic Burial place" A tract of land that has been in existence as a burial ground for more than 100 years wherein there have been no burials for at least 50 years and wherein there will be no future burials.

Gower Cemetery is located on Golf Course Road, Hamilton Township, Monroe County Pennsylvania. First burial was 1770 and the last 1914. It is the resting place of Johann Nicholas Gower,died 1787. Many Revolutionary, Frontier Rangers,War of 1812 and Civil War Veterans burials are here.
