One of the sweepers for the 75 mile course lost his Garmin 1000 during the Epic on Sunday. If you found it, or hear from someone who might have found it, please post up. Would be cool if we got it back to him.

Thanks!

Bring a mug, or a cup, to help us cut down on trash.

In an effort to minimize plastic going into a landfill, we are asking everyone (riders, volunteers, and spectators), to bring a reusable mug for the beer garden. Heck, you can use it for ANY beverage you like.

With 37 and 64 mile options this race features pavement, gravel, potholes and lots of climbing and includes the gravel section of Gambrill Park Road for added excitement. This is sure to be an instant classic so make sure you register before it is too late: https://www.bikereg.com/the-gonzo-torture-race

The festival runs Friday to Sunday and includes something for everyone including lots of mountain biking. Pre-registration is already closed but they welcome day-of registrations. See https://fpvsp.org/patapsco-trail-fest/ for more information.

And here is the fall cycling event schedule for our area.

Note this doesn't include the myriad of fun rides and centuries taking place over the next month and that not all registration links are live yet.

Another MORE MoCo Epic in the books. What I love most about the Epic are the people. Mountain bikers ride hard and have a great time doing it. Couldn't ask for a better community. Had my usual great days under the Registration tent... Did get a chance to snap a few shots. Will post gallery in the next day or so.

All will be MUCH better soon.

Kids Rides Postponed Until Sunday

Riders & Volunteers,

Looks like Mother Nature has decided to challenge us with some soggy weather on Saturday. Since she always gets her way, we are moving the kids rides, and Family Fun Day to Sunday the 9th, the day of the Main Event. Ride start times will remain the same.

We will still be hosting packet pickup and on-site registration on Saturday from 10am-4pm at the event venue (aka The Mothership).

If you are a volunteer for the kids rides and are unable to assist on Sunday, please let us know ASAP. Otherwise, we will expect to see you at the originally scheduled time, but on Sunday instead.

Sunday's Main Event goes on as scheduled. We are looking forward to another Epic day.

See you SUNDAY!
