We are very sad to announce the passing of our hospital cat, Sally. She had been fighting a recent battle with a cancer that unfortunately took a downturn. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and will leave a hollow spot in our hearts. We did not have Sally long, as she came to us shortly before the loss of our other cat, Rigby, but she left an imprint that will be felt for many years. Give your animals love this evening, as we remember how quickly they pass in and out of our lives.

Who wants a giant cuddle buddy?! Sam needs a foster or a forever home!

🚨🚨URGENT: Sam needs a new foster by Friday as his current foster can no longer keep him! Can you help this sweet boy out?🚨🚨

Sam is a 6 year old Great Dane who is a very sweet boy. His foster family says he has lost some weight since he arrived, and his hips and knees are in great shape. If he had his way, he would sleep with you all night long! He gets along with dogs that are as small as a Chihuahua, as large as another Great Dane, and all sizes in between. He's cat friendly as well. He likes taking walks, going on car rides, and anything that can be done with his humans! He is sweet-hearted and loves being around people. He is house trained AND good on a leash. We recommend him to a home without children, as he doesn't always behave around them.

Sam is currently in a foster home who absolutely adores him. They say that he gets along well with all four of their dogs and became part of the pack very quickly. He adapts very easily and is a fast learner. Sam loves his foster home, but is still looking for his forever home where he can be the happy boy that he is. Sam is not destructive and does not need to be crated. You can fill out our application at www.petrescuealliance.com.

Lucy remains in boarding day-after-day, month-after-month. Our heart breaks for her and her buddy Rolo who have both been in boarding for all of 2019 so far, and before that. Lucy absolutely loves her human and will adore you so much! She had a foster months ago and they shared such a special bond, but she wasn’t in a situation where she could adopt.

Lucy is a ~3 year old Red Heeler mix that loves to be active and playful - although she could still use some work on her fetching skills - see the fifth picture!

She will need to be the only pet in the home - no dogs or cats. She will need someone that is patient and understanding and will be willing to work with her. She’s not perfect but she will love you unconditionally in the hopes that you’ll do the same for her!

Lucy deserves a chance at a good home, and we need to get her out of boarding ASAP! It’s not healthy for a dog to be in boarding for so long and we know she will blossom into a goofy, playful girl if you give her a chance!

Please consider opening your home to Lucy - whether as a foster or adopter - and apply on our website ➡️ https://PRA.rescuegroups.org/forms/

HELP! One of our clients' cats is missing. Here is a note from them:

Dear neighbors, Could you please be on the lookout for our cat? Carle didn’t come home last night, which is very unusual. Carle is often spotted lounging in our yard on Baylor Dr or perched in our window. He is a Black and Tan, striped, short-haired tabby. He is friendly— and doesn’t generally yield the sidewalk to dogs which is why you may have noticed him! A couple days ago he started having some mini- strokes. We are worried he is disoriented and confused about finding his way home. If you see him, would you please let us know? We are very worried and he has a vet appointment! Thanks for your help! Jim Cowen [email protected] and Lara Shane [email protected]

Please let us know if you see him!
