Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, military personnel have incorporated protective measures to ensure essential missions continue. One of these measures is that many military dining facilities are strictly providing to-go options, as dining-in has been suspended indefinitely.

Lighthouse Louisiana has been responding to this call. As a federal AbilityOne provider of to-go plates, mess trays, clamshells and other disposable dining supplies, Lighthouse Louisiana has multiplied production efforts, while also implementing CDC and OSHA recommendations at all of our facilities. Lighthouse staff are proud to be able to support the war fighter and the missions of America's armed forces during this time.

“Continuing our mission is important because without us many single service members would go without food,” said U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Robert Shorter, 673d Force Support Squadron food service apprentice. “We are in charge of feeding the human weapon systems that are our Airmen and Soldiers who complete the mission, and we will continue to complete our mission, no matter what is thrown at us.”
