Ed Moore and his daughter Hailey of Veterans Fishing Adventure, spoke of the progress that has been made since the inception of the dream to be able to create a way for veterans with disabilities to enjoy fishing . With the boat in the parking lot, they described how it was built with the ultimate ideal of allowing physically challenged veterans the full fishing experience . The largest fish caught so far has been 70 pounds. The meeting ended with viewing the happy, joyous faces of those who had participated and a noting of the unforeseen positive results of people meeting and sharing with people. The latter was illustrated with an exchange between two men of different generations with prosthesis-one years old and the other modern. The former is now going to Walter Reed and will be able to move much more easily. The club presented a $500 donation to Mr. Moore and Hailey to aid in continuing their good work and service.
