#PRIMA2020 Canceled
After careful consideration, PRIMA's leadership has made the difficult decision to cancel PRIMA's 2020 Annual Conference in Nashville. Given the health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, and the subsequent travel restrictions and stay-at-home orders that have resulted, we find it impossible to put on the conference at this time.

Please read about refunds and other cancellation information here: https://conference.primacentral.org/covid-19.cfm

We look forward to seeing you next year, June 13-16 in Milwaukee, WI, for PRIMA 2021.

“Vernice Armour is my female hero for #WomensHistoryMonth because of her professional excellence and bravery. Vernice was the first African American female naval aviator in the Marine Corps and the first African American female combat pilot in the U.S. Armed Forces (2001), where she graduated top of the class at her military flight school. During her two combat tours in the Gulf, and participating in the Iraq invasion, she received numerous commendation, service, and achievement medals and stars. Before joining the US Marines, Vernice was also the first African American female to serve as a police officer in Tempe, AZ and on the Nashville Police Department’s motorcycle squad.” – Director of Education & Training, Shaunda Ragland, MPA

As a retiree I no longer follow such issues closely; however the recent emphasis on Worker's Compensation benefits for first responders suffering PTSD because of exposure to "tragic circumstances" has rekindled an old concern of mine about the incidence of PTSD among medical providers, especially those in ER's, surgery centers and Medical Examiners. What are some good resources to review for information on PTSD among medical providers compared to first responders?
What a great group of individuals! I'm so appreciative for the scholarship, the wonderful topics and speakers, delish food, and the chance to network with other risk managers from around the country! Thank you PRIMA!😁👍
Thank you for the opportunity to attend PRIMA conference. I had enjoyed the whole experience and have met lots of lovely people. Safe journeys home everyone.
So very honored to introduce and moderate for Dean Coughenour as he presents "Police/Fire; Penetrating the Cone of Silence" during a break out session at 2017 National PRIMA Conference. Dean is one of the most dynamic speakers in public risk who never fails to deliver a powerful message through his training. #prima2017
