The ASBO Board of Directors and staff would like to congratulate Jacqlene McAllister as she gets ready to step into her new role as the School Business Administrator for Galway CSD.
To say we will miss having her on staff is an understatement. In her nearly eleven years as an employee of ASBO New York, Jacqlene has worn many hats. She began her time at ASBO as Communications Coordinator and leaves holding the title of Director of Operations and Finance.
However, those titles don’t do justice to the amount of work she has done to help build the organization. Over the years, Jacqlene has interacted with every aspect of our organization, forging relationships with members and stakeholders alike through her genuine nature and ability to connect with people. During her time putting together ASBO’s Reporter Magazine, Jacqlene became an expert on all things ASBO. Eventually, she became involved in professional development, financial management, and event planning- to name just a few!
"Jacqlene's commitment and contributions to the Association will be unmatched. Instead of dwelling on her departure though, we are celebrating her successful entry into the school business world and look forward to having her as a colleague and representative of our profession. She is well suited for this role and we can't wait to watch her shine, " says ASBO Board President, Jamie Phillips.
Jacqlene has often said, “I love what I do because of our members.” This sentiment is something she has imparted to the rest of the ASBO staff, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to show her that same love as she joins the ranks of our members.
We will miss Jacqlene’s Death Wish Coffee fueled enthusiasm in the ASBO office, but look forward to her remaining an active member of the Association. Jacqlene's last day at ASBO is August 11. If you would like to send her a message, you can email [email protected].
