Good News for EIP Scholarship Applicants!: Although the Educational Incentive Program (EIP) has depleted its funding for 2020, additional scholarship funds have been made available through the NYS B5 Project.

The Professional Development Program (PDP) is administering these scholarship funds on behalf of the Preschool Development Grant Birth through Five Initiative (PDGB5) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Care.

Applicants who are eligible for an EIP scholarship will instead receive a B5 scholarship to be used in the same way as an EIP scholarship. All applicants should continue to apply as they normally do through EIP and PDP will award the B5 scholarships with no additional steps needed to be completed by applicants. To learn more about the NYS B5 projects, visit The Council on Children and Families.
